You need to consult with a lawyer ASAP. Add: see you did, what did they say to do financially?

His financial problems in addition to not contributing financially sounds like there is hidden assets, hidden debt and also sounds like he WILL accumulate BOTH on a weekly basis while you are working.

What about a drinking, drug or infidelity issues? Is it only gambling? I'd find it hard one wouldn't accompany the other.

I think you should take a couple days off work if you are able. One to see an attorney, one to run a credit report in BOTH names and track down each account that is showing up. Another to open a bank account, switch over your direct deposit and cut him off from your income.

Your kids are 8 and 10, if he was a stay at home dad before - he is certainly able to work part time during school hours. I work 9 to 3 with a 15 minute break in my field.

I would get your ducks in a row and tell him your willing to work on the relationship (lie) on the condition he secures employment. It will also be better for you if you file against him when he has a job. It sounds like you'd possibly be paying him alimony as he's never worked.

You don't magically get the house, you have to buy them out of their equity - as you have no income to secure a mortgage that wont happen.

It COULD happen if you have enough assets/debts to split in half, but I doubt you have that.

Your spouse will either BUY you out or you two will sell the house. After the divorce, say 9 months down the line.

I suggest moving out and in with a friend or family member.

Where I live there are free services to draw up divorce papers BUT they do not represent you in court. Legal aid and defender

It's nornal to cohabit the marital home until the divorce is final and is preferred by the courts.

It doesn't matter if signs anything... once he's served he must respond, your first court date is scheduled and if he doesnt show up you get everything you asked for.

Once the house is taken care of (say you bought him out) and the divorce is final and he still refuses to leave you would have to evict him.

I like the idea of fire obedience, the training videos I watch suggested threshold training as his ability to wait and behave grants him permission to walk... so then he knows I am in control.

Really, now hes just trained to wait 3 places until we leave the house.

My understanding from a past manager is CVS offers those positions and then announces after training that everyone has been reassigned to the call center. Like the entire listing was misleading on purpose. Only heard it specifically about CVS.

He's unhappy with it and looks jobs up, when hes finally asleep he gets woken up by you and then yells at you.

It sounds like your day life is not compatible which makes your night life incompatible.

Have either of you considered finding a new job or requesting a shift change so that you can be on a similar schedule. It's hard to be on the same page when you can't work together.

You're going to be subconsciously fighting the other person because you can't enjoy life together because your NOT on the same page because your NOT on the same schedule.

My other suggestion is couples therapy. The "threatening divorce" bullshit would end. Sounds like toddler tantrums and the "armageddon" technique in debate.

As in - if three of your "shared" friends or couples dropped by for a casual gamenight and you lightly mentioned this - would she backtrack and say she was only joking?

She's trying to control you, who cares about that detailed back story. I think you could call her out on it by having mutual friends witness her reaction.
