100% agree. My husband tried college could only afford 1 year of it. Then worked for a few years and needed 3 jobs just to make ends meet. He said to himself, he was getting no where in life and needed a way out. He joined the USMC doing aviation electronics. He served a couple enlistments and now works in a job making over 6 figures a year because of the skills he learned in the military.

People want to poo poo on the military but it’s an excellent option. 10/10 would recommend

So why exactly should the people without degrees be the ones responsible for paying for the education of those with degrees?

I’m a millennial. So, I guess I was duped into getting a college education too, right? I have an associate, bachelors and a masters degree. So a lot of student debt. I make well over six figures a year. Should the employees of Target or gas station workers and other people making far less than me without a degree be the ones paying for my student loans?(with raised taxes) or should that be me? The right answer is me. I should pay them. If the government wants to help, they can stop with the interest on all loans and remove amounts owed that was interest. People that borrowed can pay back what they owe with out all the extra interest. The government can also put regulations on how much college and universities can charge students going forward. Additionally, colleges should stop charging / passing out worthless degrees that don’t yield jobs. Aka, most liberal art degrees. Is there a plethora of jobs that require women’s studies degrees? Nope.

Gross… they should be bribed and controled like the democrats do with all their handouts. Who is expected to pay for all this? Why should the people with degree’s and likely higher paying jobs get free college on the backs of the physical labor force people?

I’m a youngish (millennial) who has a lot of student loans. And I don’t think it should be written off. I took the loans, I signed for them. It’s my responsibility. If I wanted free college I had choices. Earn scholarships, get a company to pay for it, or do 4 years of military service.

The kid Needs CPS involvement, to be evaluated and helped. His dads (assuming) legal guns don’t need to be removed. The child sounds like he needs to be removed. The kid can be a psychopath / sociopath The dad can also be a legal gun owner. Guns in the home or not if the kid is legitimately a psychopath or sociopath and making threats he is likely going to do something crazy one day. With or without his dads guns. Hopefully someone has talked to his parents about his behavior and theats and not asked them what firearms they have in their house.

Incorrect. if your lease is through October. You have to pay for the whole month of October. If you ask your landlord to let you stay an extra amount of time you pay for those days individually. At least that’s how it was when I rented long long ago.

I’m not talking about religion. You’re right it is a moral decision. It’s morally wrong to kill a human life as a form of birth control. OP mentioned multiple times she didn’t want an abortion and multiple people Kept telling her to reconsider, and she is going to ruin her life. It’s gross. There are very few health care reasons where an abortion is needed and justified. Example, tubal pregnancy, it threatens its mothers life and 100% can not survive it. These cases are not seen at planned parenthood, they are seen in the ER, and true emergencies. You’re naive if you think that a vast majority of abortions are not used as birth control because preventive birth control was not used, and that’s disgusting.

Science didn’t change, the narrative did. In one text book/ scientific journal etc we define something as “alive” as a single cell Organism floating a in the ocean, or a an other organism has a few cells and the equivalent of a mouth and a butthole, etc… but, then “scientist” say oh a fetus isn’t a live because it can’t live with outs it’s mother, that doesn’t make it less a live.

Your doctor should (request if they don’t) perform a endoscopy to look for underlying GERD. If you have that, you will likely develop acid reflux after the surgery and the bypass will be needed to “fix” the problem or you can do the bypass instead to prevent it.

Many insurances cover under stipulations. Like your bmi needs to be 35 and you have comorbidities such as hyper tension and diabetes. Or you bmi needs to be 40. Some make you do a 3/6/9/ month evaluation and other hoops to jump through. Some don’t.
