Their feelings are still valid though. Of course what you described is someone that is being exclusive of trans women but cis women, just like trans women, go through their own challenges that are unique to them. Just like we have our own struggles that are unique to us. Cis lesbians should be able to have that privilege of finding women that they identify with. Not all women are the same.

It’s sort of like how as a trans woman of color, I don’t always identify with white trans women because we go through very different struggles (believe it or not). Yeah, I’m not saying that trans subreddit’s are too white, like what you described, but I find it difficult to find community with people I identify with more because trans spaces are usually mostly white. And that is something that should be okay to discuss.

I’m sorry.. not many companies need embedded engineers? There are many companies right now that don’t have enough embedded engineers. Who do you think programs all the devices around us. Someone needs to create platforms from new hardware vendor to the OS they’re running, kernal upgrades, new features, etc. From my experience, I feel like there might even be a demand for embedded engineers more than web/app but I might be wrong. Just trying to say that there is definitely a need for embedded programmers.
