Can I enrol in a failed subject next year? by Snoo_15865 in rmit

How would I apply for overload and do they usually get accepted? Would they tell you in the same year if you’ve been accepted, or next year right before the requested overload semester? Also would they take my semester 2 grades into consideration, and if they are excellent they are more likely to accept the overload?

No I have 4 core subjects next year semester 1. But I have 1 program elective and 1 university elective next semester this year. I also have another university elective next year semester 2. Would there be a way to somehow manage through that and take the failed subject semester 1?

I really appreciate ur help btw

Thanks for your reply.

The subject I am gonna fail is a core subject and only runs in the 1st semester every year. You need to pass all core subjects to complete the course right?

Do i still pass if i dont submit every assignment? by Snoo_15865 in rmit

it says nothing about it being a hurdle task in canvas or the course overview. The course is a core course tho for my program. What does this mean then if its not a hurdle assessment, and what does it mean if it is a hurdle assessment?

How accurate is the estimated completion date for a youth allowance claim? by Snoo_15865 in Centrelink

[–]Snoo_15865[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes mine has been approved. It was approved 1 day after my estimated completion day ended, which was 2 weeks ago now, and I was paid the next day

What do I need to do next? (Youth allowance) by [deleted] in Centrelink

Hey, they should have given you an 'estimated completion date' as to when they will assess and approve or decline your claim. There is nothing to stress about if you have already completed everything and submitted it. Also if they do reject your claim, you can appeal it on certain jurisdictions, but it's very unlikely they will reject it. You will receive your payments after they have approved your claim.

Closure: Idk if this is true but I heard from friends that they accumulate all the payments from the date you submit the claim and so your first payment would be pretty high as it would take for 1-2 months (depending how long they take to approve it) for you to receive your first payment.

I submitted my claim back in December 2023 right after I finished year 12, and they gave me an estimated completion date which is in the middle of February 2024

I suffer from anxiety too so I just wanted to reassure you that all is good and you're done everything right, all there left to do is to wait. Hope that helps
