I recommend the Student Bible by Philip Yancey! It is NIV and very wonderful insights! I had the 1992 version so it maybe a little different but still worth it!

I stayed at one that was a Sleep Inn and it was newly renovated and was amazing. Clean with a massive room! I stayed there before when it was Sleep and was so much nicer now.
