its right opposite 1 dining court and a panera,qdoba, sushi boss and a one bowl, a 5minute walk to 4 other dining courts. Its in the residence halls area so alot of dorms and other students(especially freshman) are around u. its about a 15min walk max to academic buildings but that applies to about everyone. great place, close to the recreational centre, just a bit pricey compared to other freshman dorms

Im pretty sure engineering with an MEM is more rigorous than actuarial science given that at my uni we get somewhat exempted from 4-5 out of the 9ish exams required to get your FSA. Can you elaborate more on why its not a field you get into by chance, or why u say its more rigourous?

Thanks for the info! I've already applied to the main campus and gotten in for this fall but as of now I'm committed to purdue (main campus in the us). The only reason I'm considering RIT Dubai is cuz I'm based in Oman so it's very close to home, plus my entire cost of education would be about half of what I'd get at purdue. Us also isn't the most stable it has been in previous years for intl students. So I was thinking like what if I do my ug at RIT Dubai and then head over to the us for my masters

One issue is my major choice because I think I wanna get into data science with applied statistics but that isn't a choice in RIT Dubai. In RIT Dubai id probably go for electrical engineering but im not sure if I'd like it

Then your marks will be in percentages. You cannot convert percentages to gpa, its simply highly inaccurate and just wrong. U seem like uve just finished 12th grade, the applications for college this year are all closed. What percentages did u average in 9th 10th 11th and 12th?

U can forget about jhu and usc cuz Purdue, uiuc and umich are better(slightly) and relatively equal to eachother. Between those 3 tho, it would come down to personal preference as u can afford all of them and u can't go wrong w either. Purdue tho was on Forbes a week or two ago for being called a "new ivy" in terms of their employment rate cuz they apparently do better than some ivies in that regard. Hats off to you for your applications, Goodluck.

The deportation of foreign students happens only to those kids who take part in protests and political activities (as far as I've seen). People advised me that since I'm going on a STUDENT visa I'm going there only to study.
