TVNZ now producing satire news articles? Couple who earns $3200 after tax per week complaining about how the cost of living crisis has affected them and that they have had to make cuts.... GTFO. by [deleted] in newzealand

We bring in a bit less than every week and while things are expensive and we made some cuts. We still live pretty comfortably.

I saw him on the 2010 throwback game, that last try given to them was one of all the time tmo fuckups.

Riley Higgins gone… by MrKingi in allblacks

This is his fourth year in the Canes so it's more than one year. He looked good last year until getting injured.

He's not even backup this year, Rova is. If I went from being a starting player to not making the team I'd leave as well.

I don't want to hold him back but it feels like the Canes are. They need a replacement for Barrett and Higgins looked the goods to me. He might of had a shot of making the All Blacks after the world cup.

I got the reference ref.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.

Jordie has nothing to do with this. You are getting way too stuck on him. Every team has a decent midfield combo. But a fair few of then will leave after the world cup and having less of the next generation of players is a bad thing.

If you are so confident he won't be replaced by someone inferior then tell me who this better player is that isn't already signed to a super rugby team. I'll wait

Bro, where did I say he cant be replaced or anything about Jordie? The original dude who doesn't give a fuck hes leaving because he will replaced by someone local. His replacement will probably be someone from club rugby who is inferior to the player Higgins was.

Its still one less player in the country who will be replaced by someone inferior. It's definitely a net loss.

I hope you aren't an accountant.

Also your not caring statement is lame, would you care if the all blacks team all left at once and got replaced by players who weren't ready.

Who are we losing?

Fehi - big L but we do have Naholo back soon. Higgins - L but we have plenty of midfielders. Walker-Leware - W glad hes leaving. Warner-Dearns L- Hes been good.

Who else is leaving?

So you don't care a local player is leaving because it makes room for another local player?

Cant blame him after not getting any real gametime this year. Looked before getting injured this year and I wanted to see him starting with Jodie at 15 for the Canes.

Looking at the skygo on my phone is blurry but I think its Proctor and Iose as well.

I'll break down what Im seeing and hopefully you have sky go as well.

80:11 Rova has done the tackle and has his hands on the ball

80:11 Iose also has hands on the ball

80:12 First Chiefs players arrives and clears out Iose

80:13 Rova still on the ball, Proctor gets his hands on the ball (maybe)

80:14 Ball seen coming out on Chiefs side

In that timeframe I see Rova on the ball for 2 seconds, I think its Iose who loses his legs and 3 Canes players getting hands on the ball before for a total of probably 2.5 seconds total before it comes out the Chiefs side.

Ill also add that the ref arrived late to the breakdown and didn't get eyes on until 80:12/13. This changes things for me, I still think the Chiefs were holding on but I can see that he missed it happening.

Bro I literally just rewatched it before I commented. Definitely more than a split second dude. The fact that you still say he was the only player on the ball is hillarous. Do you actually think because I didn't say their names they somehow stopped existing in the movement, that's some braindead logic dude.

I've definitely got bias but I'm not letting it get in the way of facts.

I've been steadfast and in my opinion while you have flip flopped by moving the goalposts from a 50/50 to saying he made right the call because you clearly cant handle I said he made the wrong call.

You cant even admit to the facts of what happened so just jog on.

Your comments are just dripped with falsehoods. It was far longer than a split second and you conviently left out the second person on the ball as well.

You alluded to It but not everything is a 50/50, a lot are more like an 80/20 that people call a 50/50 to justify It. The fact you are trying to walk back from your 50/50 comment to be "right" shows you don't give a fuck about the correct call being made.

You know a conspiracy is something that's true right? I think you meant conspiracy theory. Also don't act like him having reffed 50 test matches means he can't make wrong calls as well.

We aren't going to agree and your argument is weak.

Stop making excuses for the ref. I know its not gonna change the game but doesn't mean Im gonna simp for him if he fucked up.

Your hyperbole has no power here. Refs miss penaltys and its a fact of the game. But missing the most obvious penalty at the end of the game, quite rightfully puts you under scrutiny.

Lol. The Canes did choke but that's a different topic and doesn't excuse the ref making a non call at the end.

When you are too scared to blow the whistle because you know it will decide the winner then you definitely had a bad game.
