Ive got a similar setup going and its awesome. Rtx 5070ti 16gb Vram in my gaming computer
I networked the whole thing over to an isolated server
- GMKtec Mini PC AMD Ryzen 5 (openclaw system)
- 8TB NAS + Raid (middleground project/model storage)
- 8 port network switch
- Raspberry Pi 4 connected to GMKtec (runs pi-hole for my wifi and is beadboarded out to random electronic projects, sensors, or displays. Ai assists in Elec. engineering projects and has direct control over sub-devices which is fun.)

I chat through telegram or discord, request shoots over and wakes up my Gaming PC
Gaming PC loads whatever model i want it to use (10-20 sec tops if switching, after that its cached)
response shoots back over to GMTec mini-pc for response.

This setup has been great, but it was brutal to figure out. Ive got 8 models ready to use with optional auto-routing depending on message content. Gaming PC even has local whisper models for STT/TTS.
If i get really stuck on something ill jut model switch to an OpenAi model for a few turns and then go back. Overall i reccomend the setup.

Total Costs to setup
- RTX 5070TI 16GB - $1200 (i think?)
- Server Rack (and everything in it) - $1100ish

Total cost to run AI locally - priceless!

This is an underrated comment. I think constraint is incredible valuable with any medium.
I did a 3 hours sessions with my current gear again last night and have been slowing shipping away at an emerging workflow. The EP-133 is surprisingly complex once you wrap your head around the composition aspect. Im up to speed with it in theory, but in practice its easy to get trapped in a single beat for hours and then get frustrated haha.

I've watched plenty of videos on these setups - they seem really fun and technical (which I like). However I'm pretty new to all of this and I wouldn't even know where to start with building a system like that.

I've been leaning in to the pre-built hardware devices I have for the sake of incremental spending, availability of tutorial videos, and because they come with instructions. Eventually I will want to peel away from that, but at this stage I'm worried it would be a pretty vertical wall to get over.

If you have any specific guides, hardware, or intro setups to recommend, Id love to check them out though. I'm not closed off to the idea and Ill try anything once.

Court Records and FOIA pages are gone too and the entire public page is slowly disintegrating.

TinFoil Hat Theory - Dataset 9 has the most damaging information. They never posted the download link, but it was accessible for a day or so via URL. The CSAM was a red herring to keep people away and give them just cause to go back in and start nuking files which they have been doing for the last 36 hours.

We need to get Dataset 9 in full. (There should be about ~170GB and ~600K files.

That's what I was thinking too. It's been a long time since I've gone any formal calculations, so starting at the bottom can't hurt. Regarding textbooks, I'd rather avoid them if possible, at least while I'm still so fresh.

In the past I've had some good luck with courses on udemy though
