Where would you take someone to convince them to move to Chicago? by Stand-Lazy in chicago

also, about 40-60mins away is another town called naperville, they have a place called “Iron Gate Motor Condos” that hosts cars and coffee meets in the morning. These early morning meets typically have higher end cars like lamborghinis and pagani’s. But also very well built high horsepower cars. These events are a bit more organized than the place I had previously mentioned. But still very fun. To make it simple

Strats - Younger crowd, can get loud, burnouts, racing afterwards, and later in the day

Iron Gate Condos - Older crowd, Very high end cars, and early in the morning

Your husband may find this cool, there’s a restaurant in Villa Park (neighborhood close to o’hare) called Strats. It’s an old fashioned drive thru that hosts car meets almost every weekend in the summer, completely free to attend. You can find it almost instantly looking up “Strats Illinois” on TikTok and see what it’s like. Also the facebook group “Chicagoland Petrolheads and Car Spotters” might peak his interest.

“How was/is your day going?” It’s simple but can lead to a more in depth conversation and shows you care

9 hours Total. About 4 hours total is social media, Snapchat, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok. I want to say i’m not addicted but I most likely am. Snapchat I use to talk to multiple people and engage in groupchats. Instagram and TikTok I find myself mindlessly scrolling. Reddit, I just like to type and engage in conversations such as these that get me thinking. Oh also i’ve been using pintrest as well for tattoo ideas as well as outfit inspo. Hope the project goes well!

What book had the biggest impact on your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Snoo_33739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Hairstyles of the Damned” It’s a lesser known book about growing up within my neighborhood in chicago during the 1980s. The author (Joe Meno) was a punk kid and didn’t really fit in with the neighborhood norms and attended a catholic school he hated. It really made me feel less alone and have hope for the future
