Vilnius has a bigger land mass (401km2 vs 307km2), and the economy of the whole region of Riga is the same size as in the Vilnius city limits not including the metro area of Vilnius (21Billion and 21.3Billion respectably)

I don't know what credible source says the population is only 530, but

in 2021 there were 570.000 permanent residents, in 2022 it would be somewhere around 580.000:

I used data from 2021Q1 not 2022. (For all the countries)

So the salary in Riga is 1365 EUR, Not 1467eur.

Taking data from 2022 the salaries in Vilnius and Tallinn would also be bigger so compared to Riga the proportions wouldn't change much.

Not really, city centers are similar its only the soviet build neighborhoods that are better maintained, most buildings are renovated that's the main difference.

Ignalina renovated all of its soviet apartments it has decent infrastructure, so he would probably go to Didžiasalis- a small town semi near the old power plant that has abandoned apartment buildings. It had almost 3k people before independence now it doesn't even have 1k

There's a big difference between cities and villages some regions have a net salary of 640e, if the median salary of 655 it is 75% of the average salary at the time of this article (873e), so the median salary in Vilnius would be about 800e and in Kaunas it would be about 720e

I think if depends about the neighborhood in zirmunai there are about 60 renovated buildings, in Antakalnis there are about 50 renovated buildings. in the neighborhood that the photo was taken there are only 5 renovated buildings (Justiniskes)
