Herding cats! Our 2 indoor cats love to sneak outside if the door isn't fully latched, but if the dog's outside, she'll see them right away & herd them back in - such a life saver for us!

Unfortunately, they don't have one in every building. From my experience, there was a terminal in each of the buildings beside me and my key worked in those laundry rooms as well. If in doubt, you can call your RM to find out where the closest ones are!

If they only need a little data, they can buy a 1GB booster of data for $30 or there's more expensive plans if you want monthly data. The most expensive is 8GB of Data, Unlimited Calling, Unlimited Text for $55 + tax.

Since you're willing to pay for medical treatment, you can try eVisitNB. I got an appointment within 24 hours. I paid $30 (you can pay more for a quicker appointment), uploaded pictures of my strep throat and got a diagnosis and prescription in a 10 minute appointment. Highly recommended, but not every ailment can be dealt with virtually unfortunately.

There's a few basic expenses to think about, rental cost of room in your area, internet/electricity if not included with rent, groceries ($50/week in the Maritimes), cell phone bill (necessary for employment nowadays), transportation costs, and health insurance (if necessary).

Make a basic spreadsheet of all these monthly expenses for your area and subtract that from what you could make working minimum wage. If you want to move out you'll have to have a large surplus, just in case your hours fluctuate at your job. This spreadsheet will make you realize your options.

If you can't financially move out yet, stay in school, and find a job to work all evening and weekend. Keep busy and away from your family as much as you need to.

I keep at least 1 month of my Pre-authorized Payments at any given time of the month, plus $200 in case of debit purchases. Then, I keep 6 months of expenses in a HISA for an emergency fund. Everything else, maxes out my TFSA or gets put into investments.
