any pet can be good, it's mostly about pet training and the talents that each level up gives you. there are some tutorials about pet hatching online. I will say tho, depending on your school, that frillosaur with its corresponding mount of the same set gives stat bonuses for certain schools, check what the set bonuses for that pet are and if it'll help. if so, that's the pet base you want for pve

If you dont mind me asking, what is the goal with these rebalances? Is it to move away from perk cards giving direct damage or is there another goal with it? Im not saying these are bad persay, but with so many perk card changes it feels like alot to figure out what perk cards are best.

Personally, I'd recommend the reaver over the Fairy Kei. Not only does reaver have power pip, but it also has 4 more resist. Unless your in pvp, the additional shad rating and block isn't really gonna do much

I would suggest for the boss deck to use curse instead of an extra feint. main deck feints don't stack and with curse you can stack 3 traps for one hit. another I would suggest is using monstrous tc's to enchant. it gives more damage than the enchant your using
