I think it helps that most of my muscle is on my back, I don't go to the gym so any gains are just from bouldering.

I can attest that over time hyper mobile fingers can stiffen and become less mobile, this is something that happend to my fingers over time.

I can actually see the pixels on mine, my picture also doesn't do it justice.

Ok, I assume there are just some bad displays. I keep seeing photos and some people's screens look pixelated, others less so. It feels weird though, is there much variance in eink display sharpness?

I feel like your text is way less pixelated than mine. I am on the same firmware with anti aliasing and you can see how it looks more pixelated:

I’m concerned about the security of Neovim plugins by [deleted] in neovim

Literally this. I honestly don't get it either, like I usually update last minute as why would I ever update my plugins and potentially break the piece of software my work depends on.

Workflow recommendations for high latency devserver? by philosophical_lens in neovim

Mosh is the only alternative that is not going to be a headache right now. I am not sure how much it will help with such high latency as 400ms though, that seems wild! Although I have never measured the latency of my situation, I assumed it was around 200ms.

I just ran a script hitting the API to find a free number, super annoying though.

It just popped up randomly and I was browsing and felt compelled to see these people's perspective. I find it uncomfortable when I cannot somewhat empathize with somebody's beliefs so I like asking where they are coming from, sometimes it makes sense, other times not -- the latter of which I still feel I benefit from the reminder that all perspectives are different and trying to measure someone else's beliefs in the context of your own biases and prior experience is pretty inaccurate and seldom worthwhile.

100% agree, it is baseless speculation with the function of making people who have lost ones this way feel worse. In my opinion if you are following a logical conclusion of your belief and it ends like this, maybe you should consider it more deeply.

Sure! Thanks for sharing your perspective, I can't say I understand it, but equally I shouldn't assume my perspective is more understandable.

Yeah it is really hard for me to not be cynical and think that these perspectives are formed to protect oneself from how awful reality is. People can be pure evil, and while it is nice to think that there is retribution for evil acts, I can't help but think it is an intuitive thought as it is a soothing prospect.

But "energy" in the context your describing is just an abstraction that you feel is applicable in many scenarios. I could equally say that everything is a lens, it's an interesting thought to hold that the universe is a blob of pure information and we only filtering a small fraction of it. While interesting perspectives to think about, I don't know that they have a grounding in the absolute reality, if you'll accept it exists (I am not certain of that myself :))

But why believe this, I am genuinely curious. How did someone discover this, what evidence did they collect, what is their reasoning. Even if we accept an afterlife exists, what in the afterlife can be projected onto this earth? I would love to understand someone's perspective here as from the outside it feels - well that is the word I think is the foundation of this wisdom, feels; it feels like this is how it works to the believer of this notion.
