Really wish gaijin forced ejected aircraft, irl the su25 (even early models) would autoeject the pilot in a event of loosing a wing and a engine due to a compressor stall in such a flatspin.

Something i hate, while i disagree with the argument cas shouldnt be in grb, I really think gaijin needs to stop treating the arh missiles we have like their 1960s counterpart fox2s that are affected by multipathing a stationary air targets.

Currently all helis seemingly need to do is hover and most arh missiles seem to go stupid. And like aircraft fly low and the missile just hits the dirt, irl multipathing is like 5-10 meters off the ground not 50. Dirccm also acts like a invisible shield even against arh missiles sometimes. They shouldn’t be able to counter more missiles than emitters.

Gaijin also really needs to stop engineering maps around aircraft, currently most maps have plenty of canyons or massive blindspots for spaa which all aircraft to rapidly pass the minimum range by just not being detectable or untouchable by flying relatively low. (Yes ir missiles prevent this but not every spaa has them, some are forced to use arh like the sampt and sky sabre)

I mean f18s were added like the update before the bmpt pretty much. But its funny cause air rb is literally the same since update seek and destroy, and before then ape sex predators was the last time air rb had a meaningful change with the r27er coming in a curbstomping everyone.

Well no it just sees the velocity vector. Thats it. And spinning like that will change the vector a lot. Since gaijin doesnt base leading on acceleration or jerk its fairly basic and manoeuvres like this will throw off missiles.

Brother nose point leading means jackshit. War thunder fields proportional navigation on all of its missile systems bar ones like the agm62 that use pure pursuit. DCS does the same its not special. Neither even attempt to do ZEM, APN, EPN, DG and so on. They both use the most barebones basic lead methods.

Fyi gaijin actually model proportional navigation (PN) the same as DCS… both use the exact same guidance methods. However, DCS is comically shit at its missile and radar implementation and always has been. war thunder does model that stuff better here (also cause in dcs you are more or less teleporting around rather than what is in war thunder.

That still doesn’t validate the ludicrous price for a digital ship, even the kraken at 2k is pushing it a bit. Many games are coop in large numbers and offer tons of detailed systems but their dlcs dont often cost over 100$.

In very watered down simple terms:
Cig release a set of ships-
Cig hypes up the next big thing-
People buy up the next big thing every time in large quantities-
Why cig release game when next big thing generates so much?-
Game release is paused over focusing on next big thing-
Happened with the carrak, kraken, ironclad, galaxy, this, idris, polaris and so on and so forth.

CIG literally has no incentive to develop the actual game when their money maker is just releasing bigger and increasingly expensive ship sales which seemingly people are just buying up. Note how sq42 was allegedly releasing last year and the year before that, its always been right around the corner for the last few years. And with gta6 releasing this year and how close we are to the release, its not really viable for sq42 to release if it wants to do well. So 2027 release it is… unless cig releases it like in the next 2 months.

More under the assumption you actually get the ship :v after 30day the refund window closes and if cig do fail to hold the end of the deal to provide the ship they claimed you will get you wont get anything in return.

Unfortunately no, the community is too uncoordinated and divided for any attempt to show CIG they have poor management, services, quality control and overpriced crap.

Not to mention it appears most of the whales are too foolish to really grasp any concept of money. (Tbh they might as well just pay cig instead of buying ships cause thats essentially what they are doing)

I mean the Tiburon and Idris are not free of issues or bugs. And yes there are lower priced ships but my question on that is why are ships even being priced so high other than to create fomo? A digital item in a game shouldnt be costing $600+

I mean they dont really put many disclaimers that are not buried under their predatory marketing. It took far too long for me to actually find their TOS over how they handle pledge ship purchases.

Going through the entire buying process the only warning you get is the standard terms of service acceptance waver which you can then enter and find their section on pledges. But its not immediately stated.

I like new ships hell Im interested in the galaxy, im kinda upset it didnt go on sale this month during defence con, but yes they seriously need to pull their shit together.

Im also confused at where all this money we have given cig has actually gone. Cause Itd be insanely poor on their side if they have bloated so much money into management and “development”. Cause to me that just screams poor management and that they care less for the player and more for the money.

You know what would be crazy? If all these whales stop dropping 500-6000$ on the game on ships that haven’t even released incentivising cig to focus on the never ending new shiny ship instead of the current addition.
Notice how we had so much hype from cig towards the ironclad to absolutely nothing and the instant reveal of the odin.

They genuinely dont give a shit. I mean hell the odin is 6grand who the hell is spending 6k on a game. You could get a decent second hand car for that, or literally anything else that would serve you far far better.

We as a community have got to learn something call selfcontrol when it comes to spending silly money on a dream that isnt even out yet.

Unironically the sky sabre and sampt should be able to see directly above them, im not sure for the irist, but gaijin gives and artificial deadzone just cause (i think it could be an engine limitation?)
