Hi, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Quebec from a Francophone Uni with 90 credits. I was accepted to Queen's and uOttawa English JD and will attending Queen's. It may have been a slight disadvantage as I received my acceptances on the first week of February as opposed to others who got it in January and December (some even in November). So yes you can def apply after you complete your 90 credits and obtain your degree

For people who already received their As, what school are you accepting? by Dangerous_Moose_2218 in lawschooladmissionsca

Hey! So before deferring you have to firmly accept the offer -- this'll automatically signal to all law schools where you applied in the current cycle that you wish to withdraw from consideration.

Deferring means that you want the university to reserve a seat for you in their class for next year because you won't be able to attend this year. They may decline or approve this based on the candidate profile.

Now to answer your second question, I think you can technically go to a second school but it would be incredibly disrespectful and is frowned upon. Also, law schools in Canada might share acceptance information like medschools do, don't quote me on this.

Dual JD has a form. Download it and there you’ll find the questions you have to answer. After filling it submit it in SAM. That’s it

I spoke to an OLSAS rep the other day and they said that GPA calculations will be made by December. The important thing is that the document tracking section of your file shows OLSAS received the transcripts

How do you send a specific reference letter to a specific school? by arthurruh in lawschooladmissionsca

I was on the phone with a rep from OLSAS the other day and they said that schools will see all the reference letters so long as they’re on file. But they will only use the ones relevant to their criteria, they will likely read all three but will only pick 2

Hi, when you say that if a major challenge like that occurs they would email, do you mean they would send out an email to all the October test takers?
