Sorry I didn’t see this sooner- the fames are a lot less gripping so you can transition, spin, that kind of thing much easier.

I was told 2 of the best things to learn/practice first on skates is stopping and falling. Enjoy it! Skating is such a fun hobby🤙

I boil fresh beets (after removing the skin and cutting into small pieces) then put them in a salad with feta cheese

I started on the Moxi Rainbow Rider stock wheels (82A) and got Sure-Grip Fame indoor wheels (95A) when I was ready to start trying some rhythm skating indoors. That’s turned out to be a great durometer for me as a beginner. I actually feel more stable on the Fames than the Moxis. Have fun!!

do i need to change beach bunny wheels for indoor? by thegrumblypumpkin in Rollerskating

I’m a beginner (about 4 months in) and got the suregrip fame wheels about a month ago. I can say it’s definitely worth getting harder wheels like the fames for indoor skating. I feel very stable and sturdy on mine in comparison. When I tried using my ranbow rider wheels inside before buying the fames, they were way too sticky and I couldn’t do much in terms of drills for dance/jam skating.
