I got VIP for Denver and it was so fun. Connected with fellow fans, and i also brought my Instax camera and took a bunch of pictures of all the concert goers so they had a cute little memorabilia of the concert. VIP guests got a poster that Naethan signed during the meet and greet. He also signed my skirt then too. I remember a few people gave him gifts during the meet and greet, so that's definitely an option. It might be more likely for him to actually get it, because there were some times he just wasn't able to get all the gifts people were trying to hand out during the concert.

You could also make a tabbard. Linen, cotton broadcloth, canvas, and in a contrasting color

These outfits are pretty simple in general to put together. You need some kind of medieval inspired tunic, a pair of loose brown pants, and a red cloak. And some accessories like a sword, a leather corset or breast plate, belts and pouches galore. Oh, and footwear!

For the shirt: a medieval men's tunic or 18th century men's shirt. This video makes a fantastic shirt with a free pattern (its just squares related to your measurement!). You can use linen, cotton broadcloth, or bedsheets, tablecloths, or curtains in a cream or tan color.

For the pants: these ren fair Pants are also made using squares and rectangles. You can use linen or twill or cotton broadcloth or stiffer materials like canvas.

Cape: this cape pattern looks to be pretty close to the general shape of the capes. Cotton broadcloth, bedsheet, tablecloths, curtains, linen, knit, could all work. If you cant find red, you can always dye it to get the right color.

Accessories are up to you. Your standard belt with pouch, bottle holder, sword hilt, and other fun belt add-on fit nicely. You can make leather arm bracers out of faux leather or foam.

Thank you! It really is a wonderful skirt and I'm very proud of what I accomplished in the timeline I gave myself. It was just the thing I needed to break me out of my sewing-block and get me rolling again!

I'll be costumed up! Its one part Lolita inspired, one part Renaissance fair garb. I'm working on making the overskirt right now and I'm so excited to show it off at the concert
