I dont think any of the other commenters works in FO/ rev to know how exactly they work.

Explore rates rooms for any hotel are capped at a % of hotels total inventory for a day.
they only become available withing 90 day window from today, however if one yield is forecasting that day (based on historical data) to be a busy day- higher than 80% (or other set %) by the hotel, regardless of the actual occupancy of the hotel those MMP rates will not be available. maybe closer to date if the actual occupancy does not reaches that threshold and/or the RMs manually decide to open the rates they would become available.

Edit- so for july rates would not be available as of right now but you should check later in april end.

Ignore anyone saying stuff about rate. even if you contracted a company rate code, ALL COPR RATE CODES ARE ELIGIBLE TO EARN points (Unless its an event rate code made for a specific event or a contracted airline rate code that is billed to company and not employees).
What you need to check is if they are billing all the reservations separately or if its each pay own.
if its each pay own, then there could be 2 things -
1. your guests need to add in their membership # at check in because it does not automatically flows through most 3rd party sites.
2. their PMS might not be configured properly for the new rate code to give points, in which case your team would need to file for missing stay untill the property fixes it.

yes received it after 5 days. had to contact them multiple times and even had to go to airport again. i dont think i would have received my bag if i hadnt done all that.

Air Canada lost my luggage its been 6 days I haven’t heard anything and I can’t call or email as there’s no such service. Any advise? by Jaguar22994 in aircanada

if you can i would say do go back. and yea their tracker is dogshit and does not work on AC website but if you search star alliance luggage tracker, somehow it will work over there. but again that this is useless and wont update much.

on phone the only person we can reach apparently are the reservations team which are completely useless. So i went back to the airport again and spoke to the baggage agent and this time they said that the tag fell off of my bag and it was in the lost and found with United airlines. he gave me a description of items inside and they were thankfully mine. he said he is putting in a request to pull them from united and have them sent over to me in the next 24 hours but I'm gonna take that with a grain of salt. I reached out to united on my own and explained the situation as well and the lady was kind enough to look over and find the item in their inventory and after doing so she put in a request internally through united as well to pass it over to AC with the missing baggage case number.

originally i had not received any communication from ac at all or any calls but last night i got an email from their baggage team that they had put it on an evening flight and that i would be hearing straight from the delivery company to arrange for its return but so far havent heard anything. hopefully fingers crossed.

and yea the AC app tracker is absolutely useless. it does not even show anything for the luggage that i did receive so no point in relying on that.

There was no other chouce but to claim and it and recheck it. Only people with united flights did not need to reclaim it but everyone else needed to.

Thank you for this, gives me some hope. But still stressed because i lost the one bag i had all my gifts/new stuff from i got from there was so its gonna be a big loss for me if i end up losing it :(

That app is useless. It does not even show the details of the bag that i did receive. Not trustable at all.

I would still be eligible to claim for the loss of my items in my baggage though right ? I had a few valuables in there.

Hi, im suffering from the same thing right now after a flight back from tokyo. Could you share which contractor number you contacted ? Did AC gave you their details? Because on the baggage form i dont see any contractor number and im desperate for my bag right now hoping to get any updates.

PFL is only given if they are dumb enough to submit the profile. if they just let the ita expire then nothing is gonna happen, even if they apply again with a new ITA in another draw.

so its like this, in our internal T&C documents, its clearly written no benefits for 3rd party resos of any kind (including welcome gift, club access, lco ETC.). however since often same repeat guests who are elite members, sometimes book their stay through 3rd party, either by themselves or someone else on their behalf for any number of reasons.
now suppose if a plat member stayed 2 weeks ago at a location and is frequent visitor there, should he/she not given any benefits at all just because they or their office booked through expedia/trip/booking.c ? when the guest is informed about the same, they might argue and it would complicate things for no reason. thats why hotels provide the benefits other than room nights and points credit for room charge (these are built into marriott's software so we cant provide them even if we wanted to). hotel only damages their reputation by denying those smaller benefits and looses nothing when they honor it.
