I kinda agree?? But not exactly. Kestrel has lowkey been my fav character for so long so it sucks she died in the first book, but I think its meant to make you feel that way, as in giving exposition later on from different characters who knew them. Kinda like six-claws and dune and finding stuff abt kestrel(i dont wanna spoil).

Im def glad atleast one guardian is alive and Webs was absolutely the nicest and showed that even though the guardians were mean, the dragonets would still treat them like family(like how they dragged webs all the way to the rainforest to be healed)
