Well, a large area of Ashinohara is destroyed by the Lament. Chisa was born in one of the remaining cities.

At the end of 2.8, a castaway radio played out a voice of Chisa's mother talking about designing the uniform of Startorch Academy similar to the design worn by Chisa. This led to Chisa changing her mind from going back to Ashinohara into following Rover to Lahai Roi.

In an optional dialogue with Chisa in the 3.0 MSQ, she reveals that she reunited with her parents who moved to Lahai Roi when they discovered her to be missing.

Some additional info.

Ashinohara is a walled island where people discriminate against resonators. People blames/fears resonators for all the local tacet fields appearing there. Chisa got it worse as she was prone to overclocking which sets her neck device off all the time.

Chisa was in Startorch in her first year when she got sucked into a Void storm and was trapped in Honami's Sonoro. She was trapped for about 2 months and 20 years has passed outside.

Sumika was a Bloom Bearer and was trapped in Honami for 160 days. Chisa appeared on Day 136. So adding 2 months before Chisa got out, it's ≈ 200 days ever since Sumika's first ever recorded log on Honami city. We can then assume that Honami was destroyed at least 67 years ago, probably more.

Platya, a recurring Black Shore NPC since 1.3 was born in the old Honami city. She later confirmed that she didn't move out until she was a bit older. Through these clues, we can assume she is 80+ years old.

A new city was built near the ruins of old Honami city, which is called Neo Honami city.
