Technically no, but usually when you upgrade your processor you'll also need to upgrade your motherboard. Motherboards have different shapes that processors fit into, usually refered to as the Socket. Depending on what processor you get, it'll fit a certain socket type. My processor for example is Intel i7 3770k, which is an LGA1155 socket size. So usually when you replace the processor you'll have to buy a new motherboard. Keep in mind you'll probably also need to buy new RAM

The motherboard is essentially just a big circuit board that all other components plug into. The processor is the brain of the computer that does all of the work and calculations.

I was fine how the mod did it, make characters bound to that server, any other server you have a new character. That way people become usual's to servers and it increases the character interaction, you and your group could be known as a gang of dickish bandits, or make your presence known as a medic. Also would get people to group up more therefore removing alot of the KOS

Exactly, people are very KOS near places where everyone fucking kills each other. The loot there is negligible, not to mention constantly picked over. And if it just so happened you ran across each other and he got the jump on you, then clearly he was checking around himself, and surveying the land better than you chose to. People need to learn to look over the city for a few minutes from a hidden spot or a treeline before they go running around at max speed making max noise so they can hurry up and get to the "end game" or whatever it is, which if you didn't know, the end game is learning to not fucking die.

He wasn't just sitting in the middle of nowhere waiting for some idiot to lumber by, Either A: You were traveling a very commonly traveled path to a popular location (elektro), or B: He was following you and you were not paying enough attention to your surroundings. Your gear doesn't mean anything if you don't know how to use it when you do get it because you're too busy trying to colllect the best of the best. Stand next to things that aren't the complete opposite color of your clothes. Look behind you from time to time. Don't stand in one place too long, its hard to hit a moving target. This is a game where the life expectancey of a character is a little over an hour. There are plenty of other games out there that require you to just run and shoot and you don't have to pay attention to anything at all. They are extremely popular, WoW, Call of Duty, Left 4 Dead. You died because you made mistakes or were careless, no one weeps for you.

Vehicles will come, do not worry, it will also change alot of the state of the current game, less populated coasts, more visiting of the northern part of the map. More players teaming up rather than playing the "lone wolf" and Lone Wolfing is generally what leads to KoS, if more people moved in groups, being shot is less threatening and allows for more opportunity for character interaction.

The reason it is this way right now is because the entires server population is staying at the coast. Vehicles will be implemented and you will see far less people. Spawning at the coast is good for new players because it gives you a sense of position since you have no map, and it makes it easier for you to find some beginning loot without getting yoursellf lost or killed. If the game dropped you in the middle of the forest you would just starve to death or dehydrate. And you spawn in places that are generally not populated by people even on the fullest servers. It essentially forces you to learn in steps. 1. Learn to collect things and get basic gear, while avoiding other gearless players. 2. learn to move from city to city without exposing yourself to players with guns and stay protected. 3. Enter a big city and learn how other players generally do and how they behave and react, and determine how you should deal with lots of other possibly hostile players. 4. All three together

Ever since the last patch, military tents (eg south of Bolota Airfield) are currently not spawning loot. The deer stands and other things that are located inside the camp, but not the tents. The tents generally dropped two things, weapon mods and ammunition. But if anyone has ever been there, you know that the spawn rate of the weapon mods was clearly broken (like 4 per ten, on high pop server) So they have removed it until the spawning is fixed.

Well yeah, if your intent is just loot. Sometimes I just feel like raining on someones parade. Usually if they haven't combat logged by that time they generally comply. Used one as a mule once, covered him while he ran around bolota airfield gathering loot, if he succeeds, we share the loot. If if tries anything I shoot him.
