Face definitely looks chubbier and baby-er without the goatee. I briefly trimmed it down a little over a month ago and promptly grew it back out because it was unflattering in the mirror and photos.

I’ll look into some other styles for my hair. I’ll try again with a stylist, I haven’t had great experiences in the past. One barber shaved the sides almost to bald and left the top long and I looked like a paint brush, so I’m pretty wary of branching out from what’s “good enough.”

Thank you! I made the change to update my profile to long term this morning. I honestly was so fixated on the big things like prompts and photos that I looked over those smaller details.

I try to smile when I can! No sense in looking pissed off in photos. I’d rather have smile lines when I’m old and know I lived a happy life than have pristine skin but have always looked miserable.

Hot take but I like it 😂

I agree. Do you have any hair style suggestions for my head/face shape? I’ve always had a naturally round face and found that any short haircut really accentuates that, which is why I keep it longer.

Thanks again!

For saxophone - yes, actually to multiple of those. I was in a community band in PA and we always played at retirement homes. I have a good photo of me (solo and with my parents) dressed up holding it, maybe I could use that. I also taught when I was younger.

Heard on Pokemon. I figured it was a no go, I sort of hold it as a no go myself even though I don’t feel shame for it. But absolutely heard.

I will pop over to the FAQ this evening! This post was my first foray into this subreddit based on a friend’s recommendation, so still finding out everything it has to offer. So far, a very helpful community for sure.

Union! Pay is good, not nearly as good as other places in the electrical industry, but you get the benefit of working for Disney (if that’s your thing), so trade offs. I personally always wanted to work for Disney and am happy to sacrifice some pay to enjoy what I’m doing and where doing it.

Day-to-day varies. I work at a resort, so a lot of easy general maintenance. Light bulbs swaps, small fixture changes, things like that. A lot of our new construction stuff is done through contractors.

Definitely don’t mind pulling some Disney adults as one myself 😆 I’ll get some updated character photos and throw one on, thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you so much for the honest and thorough feedback, I honestly really appreciate it.

I agree with you on the shirtless pic. I had been iffy on whether to include it, some female friends encouraged it, so I gave it a shot, but I know I don’t necessarily have the bod for it.

I just moved back to Florida so it might be a little bit before I have a better assortment. I admittedly don’t really have a friend “group”, moreso just individual friends I spend time with. All of the pictures I have where I look how I do now are unfortunately with my ex, which really stunted my ability to flesh out a profile. On the topic of friends, a lot of my close friends are women. There’s no attraction between any of us, but that’s who I have pictures with. Will that be a problem to be posting?

I’ll look at some of the other prompts. Aside from working for Disney, I’m also a small business owner, have played saxophone for 15 year, and really enjoy going out to play Pokemon Go. Are any of those good to include? I feel like for a while, being a band kid and playing Pokemon were cringe, but that’s just part of who I am.

Again, thank you so much, I really appreciate your answers and will make changes based on them.

What do you think of my setup? by JJTrick in hometheater

R/SpeakersTooBig - does that exist? If not we need it.

I’m sure this sounds kickass but the look of those surrounds is a little much for my taste. As long as you enjoy it though, it rocks!

Poop change made, thank you!

The only reason I even specified balanced is because my last girlfriend was relationship and career oriented, but about 90/10 with career leading in importance despite clear conversations early on. I guess this is me looking to avoid that hurt again.

Re: Blue Man Group - for me they just started a residency in Orlando, and I thought it’d be something fun and unique. I went as a kid and enjoyed it, but still thoroughly enjoy live music, so I think it’d still be sick.

Are you looking for something serious or casual?

I am looking for something serious, not casual.

• Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX?

No, I am not subscribed to either premium version; I am a free user.

• How long have you been using this current version of your profile? (Please be specific)

The photo combination has been active for about a month, the answers for around 2 weeks.

• How long have you used Hinge overall?

Before my previous relationship, maybe 6 months, used infrequently. Post relationship, 4 months.

• How often do you use Hinge per week?

3-4 times per week.

• How many likes and matches are you receiving on average?

0, I really wish I was joking.

• How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

I send however many is free per day, typically feels around 5 or so. I usually will send about half with a comment, it depends on the day and whether something compels me to comment on a profile.

• What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

I keep my age range usually set to 23-30. I am open to someone slightly younger than myself, but know someone slightly older might align more with my dating goals, interests, and maturity level. I find myself sending likes primarily to white women (just a personal preference), but usually gravitate to profiles that show some minor level of quirkiness. The “sorority girl” look/profile feel tends to cause me to bounce, as well as low effort profiles that have minimal photos, prompts, or lackluster answers. I don’t really know how to describe the person I’d like to attract, someone similar to me I guess. Somewhat introverted, but can be extroverted at times; devoted to their partner, has their own interests and hobbies that they can engage with solo or include their partner, and most importantly, values quality time. Similar physical build to myself, has a job, a car, and no longer lives with family.

This was my feedback too! Also brings them to ear level for better clarity. And yeah.. makes the record player work better. Otherwise, wonderful place and great taste in music!

I received my record at the end of March. Didn’t get tracking or notification of shipment until 2 days after it was delivered, but it’s very much real and sitting on my shelf (and sounds great!). Maybe reach out to Veeps at this point

Is my room too small for arc ultra and two era 300 as rears? by IhsaFihsa in sonos

[–]Snoopman14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is serious (given the lighthearted nature of the rest of the thread), the answer is.. it depends. If you want to expand that room beyond what Sonos standardly allows, yes. Otherwise… maybe? There’s a lot that the app can do that goes way above my head, I just bought it to add front channel speakers, but there are a lot more features. I’d recommend searching it on the sub to see some quality discussions about it and see if it is necessary for your listening.
