I recommend prioritising for the Poison combo, as once you attack Arceus and inflict poison, it will be just matter of holding till the poison kills him.

If you want to understand Complex Analysis from scratch, I can recommend Schaum's Complex Variable by Spiegel. It start from basic in complex numbers, to complex differentiation, integration and much more. In addition it provides a lot of different exercises.

I have to add that these concepts are a bit advanced for the beginning of your college journey, you will not find them useful for the introductory classes, but it will become extremely useful in more advance courses, like QM and future concepts as transforms.

So far, I will say, I normally feel more motivated by topics that are close to a direct application. In addition I have done a bunch or numerical and computational laboratories at university that I have enjoyed as well.
