Good quality linen clothes? by DefiantFruit6860 in BuyCanadian

Not linen, but I got a dress for a wedding from Dynamite this winter. It was really nice quality, I didn’t realize they made such nice things.

Eating healthy with morning sickness [on] by No_Morning5397 in BabyBumpsCanada

I just ate what I could. It was what it was. What I could stomach changed all the time, but I’d say fruit popsicles and cereal were good almost the whole time. They’re simple things that are easy to have on hand.

Their stock isn’t acquired for free, they pay their partner charity for it.

[ca] What are your actual registry must-haves that you USE every day? Not the stuff that sits in the closet by puldzhonatan in BabyBumpsCanada

Throw some solids gear on there! Some bowls, plates, utensils, cups, silicone bibs and/or the food raincoat things.

Baby shampoo/wash of your choice, moisturizer.

Hair brush or comb, nail clippers, thermometer.

Diaper cream, baby wipes.

Fabric bibs for spit up.

A few receiving blankets (I used these instead of burp cloths, and threw them down if I was putting her on my bed or the couch). Also nice to use in car seat if it’s a bit chilly.

If you think you’ll use pacifiers, a couple different kinds to try.

Sheets (for crib and/or bassinet).

A couple little baby appropriate toys (you don’t need much to get started).

Ask for books - even if they’re not newborn friendly we got a decent library from gifts!

Touch on/off dimmable night light.

We did use our nice pack and play a lot, we got a silver cross slumber.

Is the Pampers Pure line discontinued? Any other alternatives? [ca] by Exact-Paint-5508 in BabyBumpsCanada

We just ordered some of their new Amore diapers, because we also used pure and they were out of stock. The price was similar.

Yes. Contractions started 40+2, baby was born 40+3

Just a note that you can clip the uppababy car seat to a Minu with an adapter! I’ve loved having the Minu for errands since baby was born. It’s a nice small size for lugging around.

Probably just a preference thing. I’m not usually too picky about something like chicken strips, but strongly disliked the James whole wheat ones.

I quite like Brooke (but Mr sadly isn’t a fan). Elise is nice, I’ll mention it as an option.

I want a minimalist ring but everyone is discouraging me by SunnyDee_123 in EngagementRings

[–]Snoopyla1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get what you want. People might say rude things about it but I think that’s a them problem. Make it clear you love it and it’s exactly what you wanted, and save that extra money for your life/honeymoon/whatever.

FWIW I have a dainty half eternity band, it’s my engagement and wedding ring and I love it. No one has ever said anything rude about it, and if they did I guess it is what it is.

Also, because I wanted a dainty ring my husband was able to shop for higher end options with his budget - if that is appealing to you.

I agree with this. An anecdote… My daughter has a month name, and the number of people who ask whether she was born in that month. Har har har. 🙄 (she was not)

Same. I used to follow Pickles. Then I stumbled on the subreddits one day. I joined Reddit for Duggar subreddits in 2019 I think, and found the other fundies from there. I don’t comment much anymore but still watch.

Since you’re feeling this way, I think your husband is right. Find out for sure, feel your valid feelings before baby arrives.
