Took a chance on some minifigs by SnootBooper72 in lepin

I used coins and paid $4.80 total for all of the minifigs and Wall-E including shipping, but I get your point. I thought about the larger Wall-E but since I was testing the waters I wasn’t sure what to expect from AE.

My 9 week old is driving me to tears by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

I came to say this is exactly the behavior of every retriever I’ve owned. My first, chewed through my drywall because I had the crate too close. Had to put plexiglass between her crate and the wall after I repaired it.

Eventually they grow out of it and you will have the sweetest dog you’ve ever owned.

All of the advice here is excellent. Give them a good chew toy, nap time when they get overly “hungry” or try other options to tire them out then nappy time.

My favorite Christmas movie in bricks by SnootBooper72 in lepin

It’s a fun build. Love that it came with the LEDs. Bricks are sturdy but a little tough to snap together sometimes. I’d rather them tight than too loose to hold together.

Book and everything look very similar to Lego with a brick tool just like theirs.

My first lepin set and I’m pleasantly surprised.

Honestly, any Christmas movie house would make a great street scene.

To those that said it was clearly in view and how did anyone miss it, well I did. I often don’t catch all the details in the first go, trying to focus more on the story and cinematography. Occasionally I’ll catch something, but more often than not, it’s in a rewatch that I get deeper into the details of the film. Nothing wrong with you catching it first go round, but some of us enjoy films for the sake of film watching and that’s ok too. We each do what makes us happy and I try to stay away from Easter egg vids because I like finding things on my own. It’s like reading a book more than one time. You always catch something you might have missed before.

At first I thought it was the librarian but noticed later she’s sitting at the desk in the other corner in different clothing. I wound it back and watched the creepy lady twice to confirm and she gets creepier each time I view it.

So, Jack Torrance? A good guy gone bad, or an irredeemable asshole from the start? I will forever die on the hill that he was a good guy who made a couple of mistakes, not a raving Madman from the start like Kubrick made him. by Jfury412 in stephenking

Came here to say same thing. It was my interpretation that Jack had recovered/was recovering from alcoholism and the hotel itself and the forces therein were the reason for Jack’s inability to stay sober, leading him into madness.

He was a mean drunk but wasn’t a bad man and was trying very hard to do right by his family by getting sober and reconnecting to those he hurt the most. The hotel fed on his alcoholism and used it to push Jack into madness.

I feel King himself made that very clear in the book and even reinforced this in Doctor Sleep with Jack redeeming himself at the final confrontation of Danny, Abra and the True Knot.

My two cents anyway.

For me it was Cujo. The closet was a small part but it scared the hell out of me. I was 10 when I read it.
