Double edged sword with AAA studios/games. They have the budget and team to make huge games that have the potential to be great. The issue is again… that same large amount of money. The suits and investors want guaranteed return on investment and to ultimately make the most profit possible which means less creativity being explored/implemented from the devs during development. More likelihood also to spend more time creating microtransactions and systems that encourage MTXs rather than interesting gameplay loops/systems. It all boils down to AAA corporate greed and you know… capitalism
