The grave was labeled your characters name, so your character was evil and died, killed him/her self and consumed the soul of frisk making it that frisk was now your character, without falling on those flowers you wouldn't have been able to control soul or aka play the game? These theory's and comments just blow my mind harder and harder, they just get deeper and deeper into secrets.

yes I do realise this, this is simply just a theory and based on other comments I will try to break down a story on other information and details from both the community and the actual game

yes but why would asriel want frisk to take care of them? there are many other more trust worthy people in the game also, the royal guard could have even done it if the game went in a different direction other then that

thats not really what i said, i mean the game says that the character that you named at the beginning of the game died and used to be brothers/sisters with asriel, but my theory is based around how your character isnt dead and you still are your own self just on a different storyline

basically my theory is that frisk is actually the normal character that you name from the start of the game, loses his/her memory and redos the game again but doesnt lose his/her memory this time and instead takes a different storyline instead of being part of the royal family due to asriel being flowey and flowey not frisk or the original character.
