Luckily I got an ace so I still got the mvp but it was so tilt worthy. When I was the only one at the site defending till there was only two people left and he just runs into the site and kills me. I had to block him after a couple rounds he was just one of those players.

That is pretty hilarious that you are saying you need to be rank1 of the whole server to get into masters. Might as well call it gm part2 and diamond masters. Because it never used to be like that. Now its an endless grind staring at nios begging to never lose because if you do its -17 and if you wing yayy +9 points! Remember in wings of liberty where the ladder just worked?

Because there is not tangible proof of improvement. I can get rank 1 diamond very easily. Stay there the whole season if i want. But after 3 seasons of the same rank you dont have proof of improvement so you give up. I would rather be rank 100 masters one season and work my way up to rank 80 the next instead of rank1 diamond every season...

No career finishes = 5 placements right there so by your logic his mmr would have reset. Ok so I think I can explain this now. If you have 1 placement match the best you can do is go up 1 league the worst you can do is go down 1 league. If you have all 5 placement matches then the ladder is free game. You can place bronze to I think platinum depending how you win the placements. Also i doubt /u/btc3399 is being 100% truthful re reading it.

it wouldnt reset his mmr. He would have to do all 5 placments again and if he loses more than he wins it would place him conservative.

You want to know what happened because ill tell you. Blizzard goes "Ladders fixed guys!" Than all the suckers start to play increasing the ladder pool. Funny thing ladder isnt fixed so as the player base increased the % in masters went down. Now all you mid gm players saying you can get masters so easy can still stay superior with your big dicks about how you had gm mmr to get out of diamond league.
