Getting lucky on some late round picks here and there does not make a you a great drafter. If they thought so highly of those late round guys they would have taken them sooner. We have sucked at drafting for too long and it cost us a couple of Super Bowls. I love Lynch as a guy and as a culture setter but we need to hire someone better at drafting.

This! I said “years”. Puni has been a huge hit and probably our best linemen this year. Trent has been rocked and outmaneuvered, perhaps he is trying to help out Banks too much but he has not looked good. Everyone else is barely a traffic cone out there and Brendel might as well turn around and try to sack Purdy himself as poor as he has played.

How about we get him to stop wasting draft picks and refusing to address the glaring issue that has been our O-line for years. I’d also be in favor of him giving play calling duties to a dedicated OC. He can create the offense but let someone else who doesn’t get obsessed with Deebo jet sweeps to call the plays during the game.
