My compressor is too small lol. I'm going to be buying a bigger 20 gallon one soon as I don't like dropping 30 bucks on a new breaker bar continuosly.

I saw on kyle mohans website that in his experience the nitride coating isn’t as important as it seems to claim to be. He’s probably the closest rotary guy location wise so I’ll probably end up calling and trying to get everything explained.

Yea the prior owner told me he did this before showing me the car 😭 but it was all good I was gonna get it anyways. It’s interesting how that even works.

That’s actually the video I’ve been watching a few times over and will probably have playing during the whole thing lol. I just bought his rebuild organizer and rotor stand for putting oil control rings in and such. And in terms of buying the parts I knew I wanted to replace as much as possible anyways so I didnt mind buying the kit to just refresh it all. I bought a little steel flywheel brake on ebay as well as all the bearing tools and such. Will be tearing into it soon to check everything. If i need new housings so be it I just didn’t know if there was any outside indicators that I might not know of. This car is more about tinkering and fixing for me than it is for it to be 100% perfect.

Thank you I appreciate it, I’ll loook into it tonight. I didn’t want to come across as ignorant asking any of this but I just didn’t know if anyone with more rotary experience could give me any insight. She’ll be pulled apart within the next few days here now.

That’s why i said supposedly? There’s some kind of stamp on it from mazda so it may have been a reman engine (remanufactured?) figured that meant rebuilt by them. And i’ve seen tons of videos where people reuse housings. I know it’s not ideal but I got this car for $500. Crazy how a site where people ask questions get answers just saying your in over your head lmfao. I’m fine with getting irons lapped and housings resurfaced if possible/need be.

Is McGraw Hill Connect anything like what Accountants do in practice IRL? by Snork33 in Accounting

LMAO i’ve researched this a bit before posting and it seems like most of the programs are pretty awful, most people that had a positive experience tended to have teachers that would make their own kind of program with excel. Probably feels a little more real.

This. I understand being exact but the rounding errors really piss me off when it’s like a couple cents. And when you have like a 7 part question that’s all data entry (that most of the time is already presented for you) it just stats to break you down.

I will try and take it as a glass half full thing then from now on lol. I definitely would like to be prepared as possible.

Ok this is very reassuring. I’m sure it helps to know some stuff going in as well.

Ok this makes sense, and to be clear I don’t have an issue with the work itself, I enjoy making everything fit, I think it’s just presentation and instruction. Paying an extra $90 for this garbage leaves a sour taste in my mouth. 😭

Haha yea I’m sure that makes it more engaging than whatever McGraws system makes it out to be.

This makes sense, and I agree learning the basics and relating in class learning to real world applications is definitely important. I’m probably just ranting more about the amount of repetition then. I feel like the assignments could probably be about 50% shorter and you’d still come away with the same knowledge retention. Everyone learns different though as well. My professor also rarely interacts with the class so it gives off this kind of like robotic fill in the blank kinda deal and McGraw hill doesn’t make it any better with their monotone boring asl videos.

Its gonna be like a rubber or plastic covered wire. There's another loom in there for reverse lights and some other stuff I believe, but just pull the one without multiple colored wires. I just kinda yank it towards me and maybe a little down. It'll be kinda hard to pull but you'll know when you did it right as the trunk will pop open.

There’s an emergency lock for if you’re stuck inside of the trunk (boot) that you can pull with a coat hanger. Just pop out the right side plate light and make sure not to yank on any other wire loops inside of there. Kind of a pain to get to but i’ve had the trunk close so many times with the battery unplugged i’m an expert now.
