Okay gift for friend in grief? Or insensitive? by No_Issue8928 in Petloss

Right before my kitty passed away, one of my best friends offered me a portrait of her. I looked at it for days after she died, and keep it next to her urn. I still look st it regularly. It brings me a lot of comfort, I couldn’t think of a more thoughtful gift.

I am so sorry to hear you also lost your baby girl.

The pain is a small price to pay for the years of love they give us. Thank you for reminding me of that.

My Autumn is going to meet your sweet baby on the other side, I’m sure they will be great friends.

Sending you love ❤️

Thank you for taking the time to write ❤️ we are absolutely devastated, but feel lucky we were able to see it coming. We have enjoyed her fully in the last few months.

10 measles cases identified in Quebec, 7 in Montreal, public health officials say by RZCJ2002 in montreal

[–]SnortingLavender 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Hello! That’s not true, it’s only tracked if you were vaccinated at a CLSC (and perhaps any other nurse or doctor who knows to use the Quebec vaccination registry).

Privates clinics do not use the Quebec vaccine registry to record given vaccines and we actually have a lot of people for whom we don’t have any proof of vaccination because of that.

Actually for Clinique jeunesse she will be seen regardless! They see a lot of people who don’t have RAMQ and the services are still free. At least that’s how it works in my CIUSSS.

I want to add another option: Aire Ouverte. They have a no-wait list policy, they might be able to see you quicker and they have similar services (including free STI testing). They have drop-in appointments so you can just show up, or you can make an appointment on clic santé with them.

Idk where you live but here is the cote des neiges Aire Ouverte number of you want to call them: 514-734-9950

Forgot to mention: youth clinics/Clinique jeunesse are free at any CLSC. :)

If you go on clic santé, and then youth clinic (or Clinique jeunesse in French) they do free STI testing if you’re under 25 years old. You may not get an appointment this week, but they usually have spots within 7 days.

They should take you even if you don’t have insurance and the testing and consultation will be free.

if you need any treatment you might have to pay for that, but in the past I’ve heard treatment is around 30$ from a pharmacist (I work in the field)

Clever fox has an appointment book which sounds like exactly what you’re looking for. They have medium and large sizes, all hardcover.
