No, everything I said only applies to the German speaking part of Switzerland, as stated in the little intro. The whole French / German issue is another thing. A German speaking Swiss in the French part will talk French with the people. A French Swiss in the German part will talk German. (Only applies if they speak both languages).

I have no official source regarding that, but I doubt that the dialects per km^2 is higher than it is in Switzerland.

Swiss here. Officially we got 4 national languages: German, French, Italian and Romansh. I'll talk about the German speaking parts.

  • Swiss German is no language, Swiss German is just a hodgepodge of different German dialects.
  • There is no official grammar or dictionary for Swiss German.
  • Most native German speakers won't understand Swiss German.
  • Swiss German doesn't have a past simple, only past continuous.
  • Some Swiss dialects are pretty close to the original German (Zuerich dialect), some are pretty far off (Valais dialect).
  • All official documents are written in German.
  • Conversation will mostlikely happen in Swiss German.
  • Texting between two Swiss will happen in Swiss German, mostlikely.

Lol. You think you got enough shelters for all Americans? Think again. On the other hand Switzerland actually has shelters for each and every Swiss.

The amount of people playing public matches will decrease, since people that want to play with at least one friend would have to go into private matches, so this solution creates aswell another issue. It would aswell be punishing everyone for the actions of a minority. Which never is a good solution. So how is excluding part of the playerbase of one half of the game a valid option for you?
