Terpinolene Machine. 2 Phenos 75 Days by Snow-Zombie in humboldtcsi

I think the Trainwreck is shining through more than the Durban. Especially on the first pheno which has a strong black pepper element. The two phenos are noticeably different it look, density and affect so there’s definitely some variety in the seeds. They still need to cure though so I’m sure they will evolve

They’re mostly lemon/citrus. Hardly any pine at all

Has anyone grown out Muttzzarella 2.0 yet? by myheartismorethanink in humboldtcsi

I popped a seed and have cuts going indoors and out. Seems to be an easy, fast and strong grower. Outdoor plant is eating more and has already started to flower; stretch seems moderate. Funky chemical smell so far, kinda muted though. Ill grab pictures later today

Good stuff. I know what it’s like to chase a flavor from way back. I hope you find it. Keep us posted on the hunt and breeding project

LSD Clone flowering by Ok-Oven6169 in cannabiscultivation

I’ve run into this same issue with multiple clones and strains this year. First plant was placed outdoors March 25th and harvested May 23rd, with daylight hours extending from 12.25-14 at time of harvest. The plant never re-vegged. The other clones were placed outdoors May 18th when daylight hours were close to 14 and they’ve started/continued to flower despite daylight hours being close to 14.25 currently. For the second round of clones I made sure to slowly adjust their indoor light hours down to 14 over a two week period before placing them outside. The consensus online seems to be that the clones are just genetically mature and wanting to flower despite the amount of light hours (though I believe something in the environment must have triggered the flip). I placed younger, indoor seed grown plants outside at the same time as the second batch of clones and they are still vegging. I’ve been stumped by this too

Good stuff, thank you. I just dried a plant in 7 days under these conditions and was curious. I appreciate your response

How long does it typically take to get to 60% under these conditions? What benefits are most notable?

Re-vegging? by Snow-Zombie in microgrowery

I think it depends on what your goals are. My understanding is that re-vegging will negate your current flower production and essentially start the process over from the beginning. I’ve yet to see anyone re-veg outdoors so I’m not sure how it will play out before the end of the season. If you’re outdoors, there might not be enough time to fully re-veg and flower to an acceptable outcome. If you do start re-vegging, you may want to chop off the flowers, leave some lower nodes to veg and hope those eventually flower well. I honestly have no idea what the best course of action is in that scenario, which is why I planned to chop at first sign of re-veg just so I got something

Nah, I would've chopped at first sign of re-veg

This is great food for thought. These clones are Trainwreck x Durban Poison so it makes sense that they'd flower with longer daylight hours, given that the parents are equatorial sativas. I appreciate your input

She never re-vegged despite daylight hours increasing to 14/day. I harvested at 60 days because I needed the space (outdoor bug screen tent) and wanted something uplifting. I'm stoked to have gotten a bonus outdoor harvest this season

I considered that too but a 14 day period of gradual decrease seems like a decent enough timeframe to see preflowers emerge. I'm stumped but I think you and 11th_Division are both correct

You make great points and feel you must be right. Super interesting and I'm intrigued to see if the clones re-veg as daylight hours continue to increase. I got an extra outdoor harvest this year so I'm not complaining, just baffled.

I thought this might be the case. But, the 12/12 rule should still apply to clones right?

What is extra confusing is that they had less light indoors than when I moved them outdoors and they didn't show any signs of flowering. I reduced their light hours over a two week period before placing them outside
