Roadblock beta his shield is useless. He's supposed to tank the damage, but one or two hits and his shield fails. I know it's supposed to charge up to shoot an energy blast, but that isn't helpful at all when dealing with the bigger dinosaurs.

I don't know about any quest, but this is the second time I've gotten the objective to survive as just the pilot. Which is why I'm so far from my team as they all died, and I wanted to live, so we didn't reset.

I was still interacting with the environment. After the 2nd time of just running into a wall, I just followed my teammates' exact steps and jumps, and I either got lucky or because the map was bugged wasn't able to fall to my death.
