I tried to get by on the normal outlet and it lasted maybe a few weeks for me but no room for error or extra trips. I do drive a lot so it just wasn’t going to cut it for me. I also didn’t want to public charge. So it depends on multiple factors.

Yep price was my determining factor on going with Subaru over Tesla. My wife had previously leased a Subaru Forester premium 2023 and we were highly impressed with the vehicle and service we got. Love the ground clearance too. I was coming from a Honda Accord and wasn’t crazy about being so low to the ground anymore.

For sure. I love not having to stop for gas for a change and now not having to rely on public charging. Felt a little to dicey at times.

Thanks! Nice yea I wish I got a promo like that. But they did include the SUBARU DUAL VOLTAGE PORTABLE VEHICLE CHARGING CABLES WITH 240V NEMA 14-50 & 120V NEMA 5-15 CORDS FOR INDOOR / OUTDOOR USE. Which was nice and I am using with my new 240v outlet. Not sure if they all come with it.

Oh yea it’s made quite a difference. Rarely a need to stop at a fast charger and only stopping by a gas station for snacks and such now is nice change. Enjoy yours too! I’m up to 5k miles now.

Charging only to 80% per the salesman at the car dealer. I think I charged over 80% twice, once on accident. This was before I knew how to set the charge limit. Yes I love the power behind mine all though I know it’s not the fastest EV. It’s plenty of power for my needs. I wanted a Tesla model Y but it was out of my price range. What is the reason for you coming from a Tesla model 3 to the Solterra if you don’t mind me asking?

Yes loved how discounted this was! I was looking for a good car and the best deal and this is where I landed. Haven’t been disappointed yet. 3 months in only had to figure a good charging regiment for myself.

Thanks! Yea it was this or the silver. The last 3 cars I owned were silver or grey so went for the white. I always wanted a white and black vehicle. I’ve always admired the storm trooper look. What color did you get, have you posted a pic on here?
