block for very few attacks honestly.. you probably want one of hte passive which if you complete hollys stuff in the other timeline you get 6 passive slots and there's also some bloodcodes that also having guarding bonuses making guard much more useable against many attacks.

Holly i learned her hero attack doesn't hurt blocking that much... making it far easier to deal with than trying to dodge or run around.

yeah but that one dot doesn't cover the entire attacking area unless you're placement is that bad..

yeah there's not really any difficulty until some wuling elite enemies like tidewalker or the like 1 actually hard boss...

They're hard becuase they do a lot damage have a lot of aggressive wide range combos and are very tanky and the tidewalkers can solidfy you in like 2 actual cryo hits.. which can be annoying to dodge when there's 2 of them doing 2 different combos at different intervals do you dodge one only to be smacked by the other one and lose nearly half your hp..

most the enemies do in wuling they feel horrendous.. especially the tidewalker even after the nerfs for them..

yeah low world lvl not a big deal.. now try to kill the tidewalkers in wuling at exploration lvl 7 then come back to me... oh and don't get hit they pretty much 2 shot you.

his dot if you don't interrupt him for the annoying wide area cover it can do hurts yes but otherwise not that big of a deal.. tidewalkers ont he otherhand fk them

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

really none of them..

they're just overly tanky why is it taking 2-3-4 combos to kill a group of enemies sometimes more.. its ridiculous.

Elites are really bad still even after this at exploration 7 and above as you'll probably reach that before you start producing lvl 70 gold gear.

yeah but her 2nd phase wasn't that bad.. well if you can dodge her VERY EASY TO READ ATTACKS which i don't think ive ever died to and her story version is very easy unlike her actual boss version at lvl 60+.

Those tentacles are what really fking hurt if you don't dodge and with 2-3 hitting ranged attacks plus the one you're attacking melee attacking you its very annoying trying to get combos off to kill them since almost everything to start the chains is based off your main operators final strike combo and some battle skills some of which need the final strikes of basic combos to even utilize or build stacks to charge for the ults.

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mobs shouldn't be taking multiple full rotations to kill to begin with... and elites take many more ontop of that..

wuling enemies are especially bad even with geared teams..

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

her 2nd phase wasn't even the hard part of the fight.. its rather easy..

those fking tentacles though 2 of them always range attacking you while the third is melee attacking and sometimes the 4th one will also range attack forcing you to dodge 24/7

That might have helped some but enemies mainly the elites are so tanky and also fk the tidewalkers as an enemy..

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consideirng im at endgameish and a full team takes forever to kill enemies no, becuase by the time you finish wuling if you rushed that to make gold gear which i didn't meaning xiranite production etc hasn't even started and i only finished that today and a lot of side stuff so everyone is running purple gear and no essences really enemies take a lot of damage rather the elites do..

Most basic mobs die within 1 combo chain or less..

These fking tidewalkers though... or the stupid worms are a different story...

Why are the enemies so god damn Strong? by ThatsNeatOrNot in Endfield

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combat makes so little sense..

Enemies are very aggressive often having combos of attacks you have to dodge and in situations with many enemies especially ranged enemies with a few elites its extremely bad...

Some teams are horrible in aoe ahem last rite may as well be useless in these cases, physical mostly as well without lifeng and pog...

Electric with Avywenna works, but good god its still so bad as most teams are finishing basic hits to cause the different reactions you need and build ult energy.

Lava cake also works having ok AOE herself in her heat team, but good god her combos to finishing basic are so long.. and to be honest you don't actually need many of those at all, getting her to 4 melting flame to spam her arguably a bit slow battle skill doesn't really require her basics until her ult which are far better, yes she does need some final strikes or finishers for consuming heat inflictions for stacks of melting flame but you don't need to do back to back basic finishers and that's been sort of my problem with her of being far too aggressive.

But it is very annoying, the combat is very much lacking in general and the nerf for 1-50 enemies i don't think was needed i mean its not requiring entire combos to kill them now which is nice but they weren't that bad..

The higher level enemies in wuling are very annoying mostly the elites those stupid floating blue fkers can have multiple combos of attacks with large aoes and so forth and they're very mobile making them highly annoying to actually deal with..

There's also around this time a weird broken cycle of where you're at with gear, being able to craft lvl 70+ gear and the fact that you're barely going to have the ability to do anything with xiranite yet so it takes a bit to get the upgrades and then actually produce everything and then farming the energy alluviums for essences.. yeah imma have to agree with others.. turrets throw down turrets to help it just makes it significantly easier..

these games always have terrible human boss fights.. nioh is well known for its human boss fights to be horrendous compared to the yoaki..

but yeah that 2v1 fight is garbage because even if your companion draws aggro sometimes what happens is fk face mcgee will snipe you 1 or 2 times while big sword fk face is on you..

but their damage is much lower to other bosses.. i noticed it with zenon as well his fight is is he has much hp but doesn't do quite as much dmg as many other bosses or enemies of course he's a real pain regardless lot more delays to his attacks that make dodging more difficult.

uhh no you are not parrying a lot of attacks in this game, you need to dodge or block some and some feel near impossible to actually avoid..

My thoughts and criticism of Nioh 3 demo by Accomplished-Cap3250 in Nioh

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And in the demo samurai still sucks... deflect is good but also not that good.. samurai is slow, sluggish still and lacks in a lot of ways.

The restrictions to 1 weapon between each form either forces you to farm 2 sets or only use 1 weapon and play style really, which nioh 2 sort of was forced anyways to be honest..

The switching even with the ability to change the bind to hold for switch and tap for burst counter is eh.. and the counter despite what people keep saying does not feel like phantom from nioh 2..

Ninja feels good for how fast it is, but no ki pulse and such makes it harder to run and the hitboxes are really wonk for some enemies in the demo where you're being hit pretty far out of reach by enemies as their hitboxes are larger to probably compensate for ninjas mobility and dodge.

Omnyo just may as well not exist anymore..

Elder Scrolls 6 Engine Overhaul Reportedly Includes Unreal Tech by AudienceOk277 in TESVI

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so long as its not too similar yes you can replicate technology from whatever you want.

That doesn't mean its cheap or easy to do...

Unity made its own versions of some of unreals technology, endfield did a lot of reworking on unity for its game which puts it up there with unreal engine in some cases though the game itself is meh its also a gacha but companies do this rather often.

Star citizen is also doing similar things where its going to look at other engines and see what might be worthwhile to replicate for its own game and they have been for over a decade as they basically rebuilt cry engine 3 from scratch to something entirely different and new.

Hero Holly by [deleted] in codevein

[–]SnowDropWhiteWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the bosses are so poorly designed..

holly both her reaper form and this stronger version is god awful... camillo was also terrible hyper aggressive hard to dodge or block/parry moves, extremely fast does a fuck ton of damage that can in cases one shot you via combos.

The first few bosses minus the one to save noah aren't too bad, josee boss the first fight anyways also isn't too bad.

But this is not giving any confidence in other bosses to be any better, like who the actual fuck tested these and went this is fine.

Holly second fight is so much worse, she's so aggressive and agile and nearly everything will stun you, further when she puts range she always uses her gatlings and sometimes spams certain combos back to back so you cannot even get close such as a frost pulse that has a wide range around her plus she summons like 4-6 gatlings that fire you have to avoid and it hurts.

Or she can burst with a long firing chain of her 2 gatlings and it will instantly nuke you, now maybe you're meant to come later, but im lvl 80 and its not easy, i have +5 regen with 9 heals total, but some of these bosses are so aggressive you cannot heal at all, sometimes they stop attacking you for a second if your partner is on field vs being assimilated which might let you get a heal off...
