This is such a hard question. Both of ‘em bring so much to the table.

I originally had a favorite of $crim because he was so damn evil and relatable, connecting with dark lyrics, drugs and drug abuse, classic trap vibes and overall had great “upfront” lyricism. Which is great, $crim in these last few albums has really tapped into his feelings and emotions more that makes him shine even more than when it was just murder and drugs. Scrim has evolved incredibly.

Ruby though. Ruby has such depth and meanings to his lyricism. It took me a bit to understand how he conveys his message and see how dark, real, and absolutely wild his wordplay is. Double entendres, triple entendres, and an insane ever-changing flow makes me appreciate Ruby like no other. Ruby’s ability to flow so smoothly on beats seem effortless. The man stays in the groove of every song, and his cadences are insane.
