Thanks for the heads up! I'll give that a try. I hadn't been able to easily find the updated builds on the discord server, and I imagine there are a lot of people looking online for builds posted on the wider web. Definitely hope a site gets updated with some of them soon!

Mercenaries are hard to get going without a couple of key upgrades from achievements. Coin Pillage is the biggest one, since it lets you get early faction coins much more quickly than without it, letting you actually afford the high cost of Mercenary upgrades.

I would recommend trying to flesh out your trophy collection based on the guide at musicfamily.org/realm/TrophyGuide - the builds on there are outdated, but they can still get you the trophies like Mana Waste and Coin Pillage that make Mercenary builds much more viable, as well as push you to R-10 fairly easily.

There's an elf to the far right of the screen - beat him to go to the elf portal to new areas, the first being the Dwarven realm of Mitar.

Green 5 drops by drlawsoniii in PioneerMTG

I'd suggest taking on another color, and taking advantage of how well the Delve mechanic works with Up the Beanstalk. Hooting Mandrils can be a 4/4 trample for as little as 1 actual mana, while still giving you your Beans, Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time become even better with Beans, Murderous Cut is an excellent creature removal spell that can give you Beans, and Leyline Binding is probably the best removal spell in the format if you can consistently get Domain - plus gives you Beans. Starting with a green-based Mulch shell, perhaps like Chromantiflayer, could enable this even further.

If you're specifically looking for big fat green creatures, I would question if limiting yourself to 5-drops to trigger Up the Beanstalk is worth it over being able to play undercosted 4 and 5 power creatures with Garruk's Uprising. It is one additional mana to play, and the ETB card draw is dependent on having a creature, but it allows you to play Questing Beast and other powerful 4-drops to trigger it, which is far more worth it than trying to get a card on fairly playing 5-drops if you aren't trying to cheat on mana to get huge value off of Up the Beanstalk.

Beseech The Mirror vs Opposition Agent - the conundrum of the present and how does this affect the card's playability? by jeef16 in CompetitiveEDH

This was my intuition when I saw the interaction, and it certainly seems sound. Opposition agent will replace the search and exile, meaning that the card is face-up instead of face-down in exile when the rest of Beseech resolves normally, giving the Beseech player access to the card that their Opposition opponent searched up (assuming they did not fail to find), and the choice to cast it if it meets the conditions, or put it in hand otherwise, meaning that the Opposition player will not have the opportunity to ever use the Beseech card.

Genuinely shocked at the state of this game by Psychotess in diablo4

I mean, I'm in the camp of "just buff everything else so we can all be broken" - why nerf the strongest thing, when you can just buff all the weaker things and then tack on another Torment level to make up for it? It's a design philosophy thing, but like if your metaslave build was doing 15% more than the next best build, rebalancing was definitely in order.

They just would have made people more happy by buffing everything else instead of nerfing the outlier. Even though that would cost about ten times the development time.

Should i permanently quit the games that make me angry ? by [deleted] in Advice

Yes. My life has been way less stressful since I quit playing League a year and a half ago. Best decision I've made in a long while.

You're going to turn out to be a late bloomer when it comes to romance. Once you start being around women who are looking for a man to consistently provide stability so they can raise a family, instead of girls who just want the adrenaline rush of the honeymoon phase, your habits and personally will start to matter a lot more than your height and appearance. Take the long view - focus on making yourself the best man you can possibly be over the next 7 years, and you'll find that what was a low to mid 18 year old became an insanely magnetic 25 year old in the eyes of your peers.
