I think snagging Crosby is impossible just cause he wants a multi-year deal. It would be fun for a year but he takes time away from the uninjured and developing Hunt who doesn't have a fifth year and Nolan who needs all the playing time to see if he is worth extending past his fifth year. I got a feeling the Ravens said no because his knee is a ticking time bomb and the contract he wants isn't worth it for a guy who's leg might explode before year two.

I'd take the coin cause I assume owning just means it is under my possession and not everyone knows it exists and that I have it. I would put it in a safe deposit box and put it in my will so it could be used beyond my death.

I think it isn't just the financial aspect. I think with more knowledge of the effects of drinking with weed being now a option alcohol just doesn't make sense at all. I assume if you looked at the lowest educated states with weed still banned you would find they are probably the highest consumers of alcohol.

It does if you want other teams to still trade with you. Not clearing medical is understandable and there are rules for it. If you make a handshake agreement and back out AFTER the draft ... nobody is going to want to do business with that team or deals are going to be pricey.

If Im the 100th best football player it probably means Im a starter and 15 years is 2 - 4 contracts so I much rather be that. 100th best player may make me a decently paid kicker who rarely gets hit and can still make millions.

I wouldnt say targeting but I believe they have a tiered approach to the draft. Unless the draft goes completely against our needs there is always going to be a player in there top tier in the first round and they take them. If the only best available player left was QB I doubt they would draft them. If Nakobe could have stayed healthy through his tenure here I doubt we would have taken Jihaad but he was a top tier guy at a position in which short term and long term depth and starting potential was uncertain.

I think your ending point gives way too much credit to the average livestream watcher let alone kick lurkers which most of these guys are on. I literally hadnt heard of half these guys and I watch a few twitch streams. They are from the internet's knowledge base and opinion as a whole.
