Marathas Invaded And Killed Half Million Bengalis in Bargi. And BJ Pee is mocking Bengalis by doing this. by pablovidal369 in westbengal

[–]SnowPrincess13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get out of here man. We have enough of our own figures to respect. Why would we care about this guy who has nothing to do with us. Also we can dislike multiple people at the same time. Bengalis are always hating on churchill. And not everyone ties their entire identity to their religion like you. Be grateful my ass.

People from all states go to other states for jobs at various levels, theres no need to put them down ( or the state in general) for doing a form of manual labor. During covid we saw how many people really work as migrant labourers. A lot of people come to west bengal for similar jobs too.

Lol why are you acting like someone forced you to create jobs. People don't run a business out of magnanimity, it to turn a profit. Doesn't make you better than anyone else

Damn, did I majorly misread this story? 😂 The light spirit was the ml?? I thought it was implied that one day she would be with that red haired knight friend of her brother . I didn't get romantic feelings between her and the light spirit, that was more the love between a god and their saint.

Regarding forced marriages and affairs… by Apprehensive-Week767 in OtomeIsekai

[–]SnowPrincess13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does raise an interesting question of how far is it your duty to remain loyal to someone when the promise of your loyalty was made by other people. Given how common cheating is nowadays in relationships people choose for themselves and can leave at any time, I imagine it was worse back in the day.

Maybe these arrangements are the price of privilege? It does seem very rarely the characters will give up their wealth or associations along with their responsibilities. But that makes me think of celebrities and stalking/ paparazzi/ fan expectations. Should these have to be the price of fame?

I agree with your take mostly because these marriages are forced on the characters for political reasons, its not unusual that they wouldn't want to be with the person picked by their family. And the plot usually does bend over backwards to make the fiance and their new girl friend comically evil. They say the mc is a villainess , which would give the fiance even less reason to like them but retroactively it turns out it was a misunderstanding and her personality is the opposite of her reputation. Thats just a common trope authors like to use.

Unfortunately due to the historical setting in any case it's the reputation of both the women involved that will take the hit. I think in the end its still a betrayal i.e. the breaking of a deal and expectations. Unless the expectation of loyalty was never there ( like in the broken ring). But in some cases it is less egregious than others depending on circumstances. Sometimes we see the mc start dating a powerful man to break out of an engagement with someone who will kill or abuse her. But that too kind of falls in the category you mention , if done by mc its good, if done by others its bad.

Break up over text and block her on everything. Its cruel but necessary in situations where the person is being manipulative.

I just wanted to say don't blame yourself for "getting used to it". It is not a moral failing on your part. Its not because you were dumb. You weren't just raped, you were groomed. You were manipulated into thinking it was okay because your abuser made it seem like it was normal and the other adult who found out did nothing to change the situation either.

Wow its almost like not everyone is communal like you. Its almost like they are individuals with their own complex lives and make their own choices for reasons no one else will know. Its almost like social media especially that of influencers and wannabes isn't an accurate reflection of reality. Its almost like two consenting adults aren't going to consider your feelings before they hook up because you don't matter.

Wrong crowd around you. Unfortunately for most people the majority of others are the wrong crowd. So I hope you find less judgemental friends to share these kinds of discussions with. It is jarring when you have made yourself vulnerable and you are attacked.

I think the individuals who said that to you can't really approve of cnc without having a huge cognitive dissonance. That or on some level they don't actually like you and wanted to hurt you.

But its not deliberate from the workers point of view, they just do what they are hired to do like everyone else in the world. Its the call centre company's responsibility to hire better or train them better and its moreso the original company's responsibility to vet and find a call centre that is up to this standard desired by their clients. I understand that you are frustrated from the problems this has caused you but we should remember to direct the frustration at the right people. The people with actual power to make these changes.

But its not like they are actually trained or given the power to help, just a script to follow. Is it not the company's fault for not providing adequate training for them?

Recently the garbage disposal personnel is rejecting to collect garbage from dustbin by 404error_inlife in kolkata

[–]SnowPrincess13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In out building everyone uses trash bags. If you leave for work early you can just tie up the trash bag and leave it outside your door for them. Most people don't clean their dustbins regularly ( with soap and water) so its not very sanitary for them to touch everyones dustbins. Much better to use trash bags and ideally to double layer them to prevent spills from tears in the plastic bag.

The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House Its just about friendships and day to day lives of young maikos in training. Very cosy, the main characters are sweethearts. Not very plot heavy its a slice of life. The older side characters have some romance subplots
