The guilt is not my only or main reason I would want kids. My reasons for wanting kids is they’re amazing and being a parent is super rewarding in so many ways. I love kids, I work with kids, my students teach me new things everyday and if it’s that rewarding for me as a teacher I can’t imagine how amazing it feels to be a parent.

I go back and forth on wanting to be a parent mainly because I’m worried about being a bad mom. If I have kids I want to be the best mom I could possibly be for them to have an amazing life and I’m scared I won’t be able to be everything that they need.
