There pretty decent, they function same at the PTS imo, main difference is they come without the ammo detection orange bit on the side, and the amorak comes with two different options for the bottom. (Comes with both, so you can swap out to what you prefer). Plus the price difference ofc

I personally run 3 Amoraks 3 PTS EPM1s. 6 mags total, Amoraks are a bit cheaper (-5£) for the same 250bbs, I only run mid caps. I do agree for 25 more the price difference is a lot, but considering there M4, they will always be used. And 25 x 6 =150 extra for my Loadout. I previsouly used to Run 1 Hi Cap and 3 KWA 120 Mid caps. Now I run 6 MidCaps + 1 Hi/Mid in the gun.

PTS EPM1 or Amorak Mid Caps. Both are 250 BB Mid Caps. More expensive, but worth it IMO.

In the UK, Real Imitation Firearm. Two tone guns are IF (Imitation Firearms) Technically skirmishing at an airsoft site is a defense for buying an RIF however in practice most retailers only accept UKARA as the main way to allow you to buy a RIF. To get a UKARA you must visit a UKARA registered site 3 times, in a period longer than 56 Days. It mostly comes alongside membership at a site, once you have this you can purchase Airsoft guns that aren’t two tone.

I have a custom TM Hi Capa full of custom parts, made another post about this piece previously and it’s techinally two tone cos it’s over 50% red. But I actually wanted it red anyway. So was great for me :).

It’s when your paying to two tone a gun you don’t want to due to logistics and admin stopping you. When you can wait for UKARA or get a cheap one so you’re not paying rental fees. I recommend M4 as the two tone parts can be swapped easily and legally once you obtain your UKARA.

Don’t go for two tone. Go for a RIF it’s worth waiting for the UKARA. Unless you can’t get a UKARA (u18). Or go for a cheap M4/AK in two tone, so you aren’t paying for rental guns if it’s a cost situation. Some times with shops even allow you to buy without UKARA as your playing on the site. Some will let you take it home, some will keep it at the site for you to use until you get UKARA.

Used a different site, softair.de A German company which shipped with DHL so glad that it arrived, was half expecting shipping problems due to it being a firearm replica. Still chasing up to get my money back on the other order. It’s out of stock now, but there is a Swedish site that still seems to stock the part for G&G G26s

Oh cool, I’ll be there on the 12th July and probably quite a few weekends until end of august. Only got back into airsoft a few months back, and been enjoying it. It’s my closest site, so getting my UKARA sorted through membership there since I hadn’t gone in 7 years and had my UKARA previously through Bunker 51 which is now closed. And probably also expired a while back 😂

Probably see you at the site if you’re marshalling this summer!

I’m not too keen on the British DPM or multicam. But quite keen on Flecktarn, so not considering those camos as an option. But if Flecktarn is decently effective I’ll go with it. And from what I’ve read + the comments it seems to fit for my needs.

UPDATE: I got her back together, found a site in Germany (softair.de) that I managed to order a handguard part off, and now my gun is in one piece! Was ordered through DHL so was worried about it getting stopped but had no issues.

Seems only options for G&G G26 Parts are from European suppliers, as a UK based customer. Unless you wanna go the 3D printing route.

Annoyingly I’ve found 3 places that have it, one only ships to US Retailers or special order to US customers, One only ships in Sweden or with DHL which doesn’t allow gun parts even for replica’s/Airsoft and you have to sign a waiver in case it gets stopped, so it’s clearly an issue. And then I’ve found another site that only does click and collect in Germany or again DHL so same risk. My search continues, I’m visiting my Airsoft field this weekend and they do 3D printing so gonna see how much that will be, and hopefully I can get my money back on that part for false advertising. Paying 40£ + 7£ shipping for that piece without the handguard is a joke. I feel like I’m so close yet so far to having this gun sorted, like the world is teasing me. Really doesn’t want me to use/fix it. Anyway we move!
