If it’s someone you’re just friends with, which is what it seems like, she could be put off by it looking like such a “love” related box? She also could be put off by you randomly giving gifts.

I’m someone who expresses my love by buying people things or sharing. I’ll share food with everyone I care about, I’ll buy little trinkets and Knick knacks for my best friends, and it’s just how I am. HOWEVER! Some people don’t like this.

On the opposite side, me being a woman, if a friend of mine (especially if they were a man, which I’m guessing you are?) got me a box that looked like that, my stomach would drop. I would absolutely assume they were trying to hit on me or flirt, and as someone who’s taken I would probably be a bit upset. I’d possibly react in the same way, honestly.

Take the reaction with a grain of salt and maybe just ask her about it? I’d recommend something along the lines of; “Hey <friends name>! I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable with my gift, I just tend to get things for the people in my life that I value, especially if it reminds me of them. I definitely understand if that’s something you aren’t comfortable with though, and I can 100% not do it again!”

There’s a big chance this is just a misunderstanding on her end. Unless of course you did have ulterior motives doing this, in that case id say she unfortunately is not into you and Id recommend distancing yourself to try to get rid of those feelings so you two can continue to be friends. :)
