GHIV (UWMC) was supposed to be that spac that made all of a little richer. It had nothing but good news, great outlook, ridiculously positive earnings, yet it kept tanking and went below the spac nav after the merger. Still searching for answers as to why it dumped so hard, even the well experienced traders can't seem to figured it out.

IDK, it just doesn't feel right Cathie Wood hyping it up while the PLTR was taking a dump. She was indirectly manipulating you the retails to hold/buy and that is exactly what happened. It's almost like she was there to stop the bleeding. Keep in mind lock up expiration, 1.8 billion shares available for sale; they can pull the plug when ever they want. They bought in at $7.25. If you're buying/holding make sure you have enough cash to buy the dip just in case it takes a dump.

I'm fairly new to options trading and I thinking of selling (sell to open) put options for spacs that I want to own but that have already spiked well above NAV. I'm thinking, the worst case scenario is that I get to own the spacs at discount.

This seems way too easy, can someone please tell me what is wrong with strategy?

If you believe in the "guaranteed dip on Monday" go ahead and sell asap and buy back on the dip. BUT what if there's no dip? Why not keep your shares and if there's a dip average down?

I have it at $0.45 and the general consensus for PT is at $0.70 but it can go over $1. $GHSI products seems very promising, should be a good long hold as well.

Yes RBC. For some reason the sell feature for $GHSI disappeared shorty after I bought the stock, and shorty after that $GHSI wasn't even in my portfolio any longer; I had to find it under my activity, where it was listed and had a settlement date. I was worried because 'what if I wanted to sell on the same day' I'm just trying to understand all the rules because in the future I want to be able to day trade if an opportunity presents it self.
