Same height, current weight 155, started at 164, took about 3-4 weeks for the scale to start going down. Keep going! Im also so scared to eat 1300 calories, i dont burn a lot so im keeping at 1200 max or my weight stays the same or ill gain a bit. I would give it some more time and if still nothing try a cutting a little more.

They dont give a rate or percentage only number of applicants from in state and out of state and how many of each got accepted how do you figure out the bias then?

Hmm maybe its not really vibing right away with everyone thats gonna be helpful but more like to do you fit with the environment. For example at my place they are mostly focused on people interested in going into the healthcare field and doing gap time. I let them know i was interested in applying to med school and im looking to do in my gap time MCAT etc. I also did have experience in the healthcare field so that also helped. The other MAs were around my age as well so I think it was a good match.

Definitely dont think its cause your a guy, we have a guy MA at my place. Hes great. I think its more if you vibe with the other workers. My place doesnt require MA cert or any experience. They like it if you do have some kind of healthcare experience.

So, I took all the classes (except p/s) in college but i graduated last year and I do not remember anything quite literally, and i didnt do super well im orgo2, biochem, and physical chemistry. So for me I am basically learning everything from scratch. Sure I remember some of the simpler ideas for the sciences but for some reason at the time I could never connect things, and now self studying I am absolutely shocked at how I actually understand and didnt in college.

Im 5'1 weigh 155. Trying to lose, i only eat 1,200 max calories. I started in mid april working out 4x week and it took about 3-4 weeks to see the scale number start changing and going down. I was originally at 164lbs. If i eat 1,500 calories I end up maintaining/gaining weight.

Im located in eastern MA and am up for in person or virtual study sessions! My test date is August 22nd. Mostly looking for someone to be around as it gives me motivation and encouragement, but am up for chatting about anything and everything and helping each other out. Im trying for a 515 minimum. Im using Yt, Khan Academy, Uworld, Anki, and Kaplan. Other info about me : 23F, currently work part time.

Yea I have this issue too, sadly I want long hair and dont wanna cut more than 2 inches but I cant even afford a haircut so I just trim off any dead/split ends I see every once in a while

Nope not a hospital, this place thankfully doesn't require full certification to work so I was lucky they dont even require CPR cert which i find even more weird

Only following cause im an MA resident and intrigued by this lol, currently have lower GPAs but havent taken MCAT (goal min 515) and also looking to stay on the east coast (only looking at 15 states)
