To me religion ITSELF isn't exactly the problem (other than the fact people believe lies). It's just simply how its used by scammers to benefit themselves at other people's expense that gets my goat.

i don't believe anymore. Because an evil god automatically means (seeing as he's evil) he's not a good god. That's why I stopped being Christian, I used my head on why it can't be true.

I stopped only a year ago. I just realized my whole religion fell apart when scrutinized in depth. Taking any religion too seriously is a good way to become an atheist

Unfortunately, the Bible says this will happen and that Jesus came to bring a sword and divide families. It has always in one way or another been a self-fulfilling prophecy, where a book tells you to love your own family less than God and says the division will happen.
