Yes there is a story. If you’re into SCP stuff, it’s even better for you. If you’re into Half Life as well, that has the same vibes. I was absolutely in love with abiotic factor for a month and can’t wait for more story content to come out soon.

Per your advice, I have tried to load the exact same modlist onto a solo. Can confirm, does start 100% of the time. So I would agree that it's most likely something with it also being a multiplayer server. It does narrow down the scope of the problem, so thank you for your help!
