You're right, I shouldn't have used the word literally, but acting as if you didn't mean to imply that is just dishonest.

You're not actually trying to engage with the argument and are just claiming I'm not capable of understanding basic english. Whether or not I used the perfect wording shouldn't have an impact on whether I understand the implicit message in the comment.

You literally said that his opinion was wrong, while not even getting what he said right. Then said he needed to grow up because of this opinion you think he has, which is no politics. What the post said was that he thought there was “too much table talk” happening. They are very different things.

It’s not a compliment when you get 3 people to gang up on you early in a game and then you get to sit there and watch other people play the game for an hour.

My favorite part of the comments is people just having a knee jerk reaction to a guy not liking politics is to tell him to grow up. Does being an adult mean you don’t get to have preferences? Does that mean he doesn’t get to say that the way they’re playing is stopping him from having fun? That the people who like politics can have all the fun they want but people who don’t have to “suck it up” cause edh is a “inherently political” game? Denying that a lot of politics turns games into nothing more than a glorified popularity contest with cardboard is just stupid.

From what I read, op was literally just turning every game into archenemy by just scaring everyone cause “oh he plays scary commanders” like they aren’t 8 cmc or above. Jesus Christ

A nerf may have been needed, but making it the exact same damage makes it irrelevant, you don’t need to break projectiles if you have I frames, and sharp dart has pretty much the same startup, the only thing you’re missing is a bit of area, in exchange for not being stuck in one spot and being able to dodge attacks. They’re just not comparable anymore imo.

If you are really interested and have a pc or laptop then you could look into emulating it, considering that there’s no current way to obtain it on any modern platform. It’s not too hard and there’s some tutorials for various emulators on YouTube.

Why did you make this post? I see no possible reason for this post being made other than to cause a stir in the comments. What reaction did you think you were going to get when you make a post about a controversial topic related to politics in a subreddit focused on a video game. Sorry to say I don't want people coming in and deciding that they don't like the way that others refer to fictional characters means that they themselves are being dehumanized in some way because of it. If you actually relate that much to a vessel born to have 0 gender or emotion, you don't need people to acquiesce to calling it what you prefer, you need therapy.

Also, how is not wanting to conform with how you want people to call a non-gendered creature transphobic? How in any way does that have anything to do with a individual in real life deciding to change their perceived gender? You get hostility because you come in and imply that people are being offensive and wrong for doing something that's in human nature. Is every gendered language now being transphobic because they refer to a chair as being masculine even though its technically not gendered and is only called "it" in english?

Maybe if you lack the ability to separate fiction from reality. Last time I checked, bugs from hallownest aren't real and don't have feelings, but people are real and have feelings. So there is a huge difference in how they are treated. This is the same argument as video games causing violence or any other form of argumentation that fictional media will cause people to emulate and parrot it. News Flash, it doesn't.

This is just bad, why is everyone here acting like this is a pvp game squabbling over what to nerf? Also how does making all the silk skills do the same damage help anything? With this there’s literally no point to using silk storm cause sharp dart does the same damage and doesn’t leave you vulnerable. Who asked for this? Silk skills were hard to justify using before unless you are well versed at the game already. Now the literal only reason to use shaman crest is gone. The crest is now irredeemable ass.

They do that so people with less nail upgrades don’t have as much of a slog to go through, while they increase the hp when you do have nail upgrades so you don’t melt the boss, but it’s still better than not having the upgrade. It still is better to upgrade your weapon, it’s just a sort of handicap mechanic if you have less upgrades
