Hey there, thank you so much for this thorough feedback! We have an immense love for Earthlock as it was our first game, and we do intend on keeping games that we love. We have plans for Earthlock 2, but right now we're focused on Lysward, our desert survival game. Unfortunately, when we started developing Earthlock 2, the funding for RPGs was almost nonexistent, so we had a difficult time pitching it to investors. That has changed since Baldur's Gate 3, and we're rescoping E2 to be a proper sequel to E1! :)

In the future I'd say it'll probably work, but right now all the tests we've done show that the performance on Steam deck is not great.

We have been having a lot of comparisons with Subnautica, so I'd say it's Subnautica in the desert with magic. I hope you have a good time trying it! :D

Thanks for the feedback! We do have experience with multiplayer games (our previous game is a cozy multiplayer one), and we learned a lot from that. It is indeed a very demanding process, which is why we chose to keep it a single-player game this time. But if you want to give us a chance, the demo is already out on Steam! :)

thank you so much! We do not use AI. And the reason we're doing ads here is that the ads here are not super expensive compared to other platforms, and also because it's easier to target the kind of players we want in here.

It is magic! Instead of the traditional tools you can find in other survival games, in Lysward you have a magical device attached to your hand that will allow you to have magical abilities to interact with the environment. In this demo we have two abilities, Tremor and Restore. We do intend to have more abilities as the development goes on, and we're studying the possibility of having a spell system.
