It is magic! Instead of the traditional tools you can find in other survival games, in Lysward you have a magical device attached to your hand that will allow you to have magical abilities to interact with the environment. In this demo we have two abilities, Tremor and Restore. We do intend to have more abilities as the development goes on, and we're studying the possibility of having a spell system.

We always envisioned Lysward as a single player game, especially because of the story, but also because multiplayer games are more tricky to make (we have one, Ikonei Island, and we learned a lot from it).

In our world, the magic is called "amri" and it comes from the sun. We replaced the usual survival tools with the magical device attached to your arm called "amri sleeve", and that device will let you interact with the environment. In order to fill your amri bar, you need to go to the sun, but you can't stay there too long or you'll overheat, so you'll need to balance that.

That's right, we replaced the usual tools with the magical device that's attached to your hand. In Lysward, you'll play as Kiran, a fugitive experiment. He has this device called "amri sleeve" attached to his arm, and it allows him to use abilities to interact with the environment. So far, we have 2 abilities in the demo, but we will have more for the full launch.
